That's awesome you fixed that mooring! It scary to think if you tied up to it to have it give way and you loose your dinghy. The clear waters beautiful waters is what brings cruisers to the Caribbean. It is amazing to see. Water so clear if it wasn't for the shadow of you boat you would swear you were sitting on the bottom. Y'all are capturing it perfectly. Can't wait to be there also. Keep living the dream.
That underwater footage was incredible, loved the turtle, and also the way the sharks were just so chill. All that wildlife just casually mooching about down there.
Brilliant video as per - your updates are always a highlight!
Yeeppee! Thank you.
Thanks for editing in the species for us uniformed viewers sincerely appreciate it. Awesome reef snorkeling I so hope our kids kids kids will get to enjoy these things as well ..... we have to figure out a way to be better stewards of our "home". Cheers you two!
Ryan challenging the supremacy if Italian cheese may be the first dangerous thing I have seen you do! LOL. I look forward to seeing your adventures, you are both genuine, no egos, no machismo BS. Just a wonderful couple that have invited the rest of us along for the ride. God bless you and keep you both.
So glad to see you two enjoying what you have worked so hard and waited so long for. Elena the smile on your face there towards the end spoke volumes about how much fun you are having. Happy for ya.
Aw thanks Arch! 🥰
Why would people dislike a video of people sharing their journey through life. Never understand that. Some empty souls out there. These videos are amazing, loving the journey your on.
Appreciate your lovely comment, Anthony.
Another great video, I love Ryan's description of warm wind and sunny, what's not lo love! Looks like you went to an amazing spot, the keys looked amazing and it appears that you weren't surrounded by endless other boats and that water looked amazing!
Thank you! It was amazing 🥰
Never saw such a big smile on Elena's face before! How lovely to be so inspired by the sea!
🙃☺️ thanks Nick! I love tropical sea life 🥰
Go Elena !! Fixed that mooring like a Champ !!!
Thanks for providing the fish etc identifications
Nice to see the winch motor is still working hard.
Where I come to slow down at the end of the day, great episode, you two are becoming quite the freedivers 👍🏼☺️
Yes it's amazing, enjoy thanks.
Nice music and beautiful place
Congrats to you both, an absolutely brilliant video. Well done.
Loved the video especially the underwater clips
Another beautiful video. I appreciate you naming all the fish species. Thank you.
Ryan is a very brave man to criticise Italian chese.
I love that you name each marine species.
I think that is really cool too.
I like the fact that you guys fix things that where not your fault,, and that was some very beautiful underwater shots
My god this is just fantastic work guys ! You make Mondays a joy. You cant beat Wensleydale cheese, made in North Yorkshire where i live, you just ask Wallace and Gromit !!!!
Thanks ever so much, Richard! 🥰
Beautiful Video ♥️👌👍
Hi Cheddar for ever . A good bit of family banter as who exports the most or in most cases who eats the most .Another great video ,thank you ,have fun .
i really like the underwater footage you guys share thanks
The Italian in me says Mozz! What Ryan? I like Cheddar but LOVE mozz! Parm is good too! 🧀 ☺️❤️ Excellent video ! Glad you’re both safe and well!
So I live 5 miles from cheddar gorge in Somerset uk , so my vote is definitely for cheddar cheese 🧀, superb location, and great videography , stay safe, 👍🏻🇬🇧
Love getting your notifications :) now to sit back and watch. Thanks guys
Yeeppeee! Thank you!
Oh great, now I have to add envy to my list of sins.....lol, Another great video guys, looks like the Caribbean is your cup of tea!!!
Haha! Sorry! 🙃
Tobago Keys is on of my favorite place in the Caribbeans. If you plan and are able to got north, also check Les Saintes, St-Barth, the VI and the Bahamas. It is nice every where and the wind will east south east all winter. It is a sailing paradise when there is no hurricane. Very nice video.
Thank you! We love it here
Finally a sailboat that is sailing!
The sailing in the previous episode was EPIC, if that’s what you’re into 🙃
Love the underwater shots and very much appreciate identifying the fish, more added value to your videos. Cheers
Ahh now you are in my old stomping grounds. Spend about 6 yrs in the eastern Caribbean. I thinks it is some of the the very best consistently wonderful sailing areas of the world. Glad to see some coral there. Very good sea life. Nice video. Great underwater shots. Spotted Eagles, one of my all time favorites!
When we were in Canouan there was almost NOTHING there. Usually just none to one or two boats there. Tobago keys are very special. If you get a change, the reefs behind the Tobago keys and in front of Mayreau are 5X better than Tobago key reefs. Stupendous snorkeling and scuba. From 3’ deep down to a hundred. Dramatic and rich.
Fantastic guys beautiful underwater shots thanks for sharing we all need something to brighten up our life’s in these difficult times.
Remember please stay safe 💖
18:44 Nice fix!
Cheers Scott!
Nice video, great footage!
Nice!
I think your smile at 19:58 mins says It all! Beautiful!!
Thank you ☺️
Another wonderful SVG episode! Loving Elena's delight in the Caribbean! It's contagious. You're in a prime island sailing area for sure. But never seen such brown vegetation, shocking! Man, the drought must be bad there.
Just lov to see yr Pacific seacraft sailing the sea
What a beautiful spot and underwater - wow!
Guys we love you. Stay safe, explore and dream. This is the best life on Earth
Thanks so much
Totally agree on Cheddar being best. We love an extra mature cheddar!
Amazing underwater video footage, absolutely stunning. Always enjoy the sailing too. Skua sails beautifully in those conditions. Thanks for the vid guys, looks likes loads of fun.
Cheers Thomas!
Cheddar all the way. New York Sharp Cheddar the best!
Wisconsin 12+ year aged sharp cheddar FTW!
Dubliner
Great stuff guys! Can’t wait to see that water in person👍
You’ll love it! To get those conditions, swim in 10-15kn of wind when there’s no current. Anything other than that, is super hard work.
😆😆😆 I agree with Ryan, sorry Elena. My girlfriend is Italian too and we constantly tease one another about our nations cheeses. Being half English I have to stick up for cheddar 😋.
Have you guys experienced 'Kick 'em Jenny' yet? I saw on your Instagram you'd made it to Carriacou, just wondered if you passed it on your way.
Anyway, thank you for a lovely video. You look like you are really enjoying the Caribbean. Good for you both.👍
Thanks Ric! Haha! Your gf has my sympathy 😂 Yes, we,ve sailed past it, though nothing dramatic happened 😄
Incredible footage! Really like how you guys label the different fish that appear.
Thanks Ian! Glad our geekiness pays off 😃
Marvelous guys. Keep enjoying every second x
Thanks Tim! Count on it 😄
great footage both on land and under the sea....really amazing well done...really enjoyed this one, have to agree with Ryan regarding the cheese though, sorry ha ha..... Tony UK
Haha! Thanks Tony!
Flying fish taste spectacular . I’ve eaten them off right the deck and sashimi style in Japan which was so fabulous .
But they’re smelly! I did consider it after reading the old man and the sea but just cant bring myself to consider them food!
Fab-U-lous! Loved those underwater scenes - amazing! Reminds me of when I encountered my first reef shark - a damned big one! Swam right past me along the reef within 12 inches of my face. I had nowhere to go! It didn’t even blink at me or alter its course 1 cm. I never took my eyes off it and held my breath - even though i knew it only eats the small reef fishes. Amazing beautiful creature. Also, your sail there looked equally fab! It doesn’t get better - enjoy those times - hope that current lock down still allows you some great snorkelling. Happy sailing Skippers! :-)
Thanks so much, Andy! Sounds like you're into sharks too 😁 We LOVE the Caribbean 🥰
Personally I find a 60/40 split of mature cheddar and parmesan makes a great grated mix on top of anything! Entente Cordial de cheese you two!!!
Yes, truly an amazing snorkeling reef. Looks scary with the sharks, though.
We love small sharks 🥰
To the best of my remembrance, those sharks eat crabs and lobsters and small prey. They are not dangerous to people.
@@gregorydamario5773 the reef sharks eat fish. The nurse sharks eat lobsters, squid, bony fish, stingrays, etc. 🙂
@@SailingKittiwake Alas, I have been out of the water too long. Excellent video.
Thanks guys!
Elena i'm with you! married to a Finnish vegan that sometimes even dares to comment on italian cheese...
how can they dare?!?! :D
Bonjour mes amis i'm content to see your new video. the translucent water, the aquatic life and Elena's young lady enthusiasm. please share with us, who filmed the sharks ? what nerve and composition: brilliant! i do hope you'll catch a fish soon, i'm rather keen to eat. all the best and cheers btw i saw the clothes pins again :-)
It was Elena 😊 She does most of the filming and editing. Thanks so much for the compliments!
Is Ryan still alive after the cheese comment? Of course my vote is for the Kiwi cheddar!!! 😛🤪😜🇳🇿🌹♥️
😂😂😂 He seems to have survived.
Nice title
Hey at 10:10 a turtle? Great video guys!
Good eye! 🙂 Thank you!
now who spotted the turtle popping his head up 10.03 :)
Good eye!
Great underwater video! That land looks very dry. I wasn't aware it was so bad and I checked into CariCOF and the CDPMN for some climate awareness for the region. I hope by now some wetter and cooler weather has returned. BTW- what size dingy is that and motor? We just bought an Orion 27 and need to find something that works for the two of us. Thanks!
Yes, the dry season was very tough this year, there was a drought. Now that the wet season kicked in, it’s all green (although it’s actually a lot hotter 🙃).
You two cheese heads! :)
loving the vid. Heading back to Euro or going for Sailing around the World?
Neither is a good idea for now. We'll explore what we can of the Caribbean.
@@SailingKittiwake Hurricane Season should be over soon. Then the tourist season begins.
@@MrRourk we mean with closed borders and quarantines due to Covid. It's not that easy to move around.
@@SailingKittiwake Watch that all magically change after November :)
✨💯✨👍
Nice work guys. looks like you are having a fab time. Now then, where do you think you will be in 18months to 2 years time? Vince from SV Jazzi Girl
Hi Vince, thanks! Hmm who knows? We don’t know where we’ll be next month either 😄😄😄
elleventysecond!
Tris that’s the one that counts!
Ryan survive at GORGONZOLA..
And TALEGGIO!
Parmesan >> Cheddar >> Mozzarella, so it fits right in there with the Italian cheeses...but doesn't win
No comment! NZ Cheddar is way better than Italian cheeses hahaha. Except grana perhaps :-)
Haha!
:)
Do you prefer the mediterranean or do you prefer Where you at right now?
Here 😁
Thank you for responding to me
aren´t any of those sharks dangerous?
Nope, not to humans anyway :)
Hey Ryan pretty good wife.
parmigiano reggiano is better than Cheddar. ---- However Stilton is the best cheese known to all mankind!
It's a tough competition!
Gongorzola + mascarpone from the deli (it's made alternating slices of each) has to be up there though 😁
Almost at 50k subs. Great job guys. You should consider doing a live RUclips chat. Make additional income and possibly pick up additional subscribers. Btw, do you every watch s/v Ramble On? They have a beautiful boat, too!!! 👍👍👍
Yes we love Ramble On, they gave us some good info on the chainplates! His boatwork is to an extremely high standard. Thanks for the comment :)
Boom, first comment
Wooohooo! Thanks for tuning in, Ian.
Sailing Kittiwake great footage as usual!
Thanks so much!
If you think wine snobbery is fun, just breathe upwind of some cheese partisans and let the rigorous rants begin! (insert superior cheese name here...)
