- After 3 weeks on anchor in Bequia, it was time to raise the anchor and get a move on! Theres so many tiny islands in the Grenadines to explore and so we picked Mayreau as our first stop, and it did not disappoint!
Some people think you need to spend money to have a good time but we enjoy the simpler things - free anchorage, free hiking, free beach floating and FREE A/C ?! Come with!

Okay just binge watched from the BVI's to where you are now and I have a suggestion for sound deadening in your engine room. First buy some fire retardant spray on from local hardware store and use it to spray onto empty egg trays which you then stick onto blank wall/ceiling/floor areas in said space! Ive seen it done and even if it only takes 5-10db of sound away its got to be worth it? Good luck and keep learning!

This is a very interesting idea indeed! We have always thought our engine was a bit loud, but then we have had several people come on board and tell us it’s not loud at all hahahah. But we still would like it to be quieter for sure. One day we will revamp the engine room and make it beautiful with the noise muffling material, whenever our tiny budget allows for it ⛵️

Yes we definitely have to work on the beautification of Joco next - we have put so much hard work and $ into all her systems, but it is coming !!! The work is never done on a boat :)

@@sailingjoco Epifanes is a really good brand. Used it on my sailboat in the past.
Have a look at Sailing Magic Carpet, they love Epifanes varnish and paint.
