lol plays better than skate in terms of just feeling like a REALLL game , also replays don’t do the game justice, it looks smoothest while playing in that behind the skater angle . I thought the same n then was blown away by how it played . Lot better than skate 3 when you want a realistic line 💯
Hey just wanted to say thank you for the support on the Session videos this week. I haven’t had this much fun in a skateboarding video game in a whiiiiile, and to see you guys hyped on the videos is amazing as well. More content to come, and I’m gonna keep doing my best to suck less at this game 😂
Stoked seeing the hunt for hidden spots! Reminds me of when I used to hunt the backs of every grocery store for hips and hidden metal ledges. Would love to see more spot hunting videos!
I dig seeing “the struggle”! Glad I’m not the only one who spends anywhere from 5-30 mins to hit that trick/line perfect! Dude I was on that same playground/slide last night! I literally gave up on that fight, I was trying to grind the bumpy ledge and then pop into another grind on the higher ledge you kept hitting and it just beat my ass.. I’m coming back for round 2 later!

I like the controller add on you put in the videos but maybe you should make the joysticks get highlighted white like the other buttons as it makes it easier to see what you do with them, also because the main thing in this game is the joysticks.

0 grind alignment is actually not realistic. It pushes you off for no reason, even devs said that the game isn't meant to be played on 0GA. Somewhere between 1-4 is the most realistic and actually rewarding. As to manual catch, it rocks. Especially when you have desync on!
@@ryanwarner4704 0 alignment turns rails n ledges into air hockey tables, you get into a nose slide, truck bounces off the ledge/rail n you slide off like the hockey puck. Hopefully they add a way to shift your weight to solve this but as it is, grinds are frustrating
Loving the Session vids. Watching you play I can’t help but notice how crazy sharp the turning is. I think they need to work on that. I find there’s no middle ground. I have my truck tightness all the way up and I still get those left and right jitters when I’m trying to line up a trick, yet when I want to turn a sharp corner I can barely get around. I think they need like a delay on the turning so that if you lightly tap the trigger it has a more slight adjustment and the longer you hold the trigger down the sharper you will start to turn. I skate loose trucks in real life, and I think the turning in this game is one thing that really doesn’t feel right. Even with super loose trucks you don’t jitter left and right like you do in the game, let alone tight trucks.
@@jodeysonskates there’s like two banking settings in your stats you can change plus the actual tightness and looseness of the trucks in the board settings. I just can’t find the sweet spot yet.
@@URBONED oh okay I thought it was a setting that had to do with the actual deadline of the triggers for turning. I knew about those, I can’t find the sweet spot either. I just keep trying out other RUclipsrs stats and managing it from there

Man, I battled that spot for a hot minute trying to get a two piece line with a heel flip bs nose blunt on the hubba. It's def tall and tough trying to get the perfect lock in on that bs nose blunt if you're playing at default pop. I had to kick it to 11. Was satisfying when I got the clip though.
yeah, but little more complicated but realistic. Like in SXL to ollie you only need right stick. Left stick only if you make high ollie. In Session you ollie like IRL with poping backfoot and pushing front foot forward. So you flick back foots stick down and push front foots stick up.
i love this game but i hate when they give you an onjective and you do it and it doesn’t count. Like i did exactly what you wanted in the spot you wanted
It’s called not having an animator on the small team of 8 or 9 people that r working on this amazing game, unlike other developers who like to release the game then not touch it ever, the devs of this game are getting an animator on board soon and they will be a whole lot better soon just gotta have patience and play what we got while we wait

Have gotten so use to this game I tried playing skater xl for a few and my fingers couldn’t remember how to play it😂 sessions is the best
