Never knew Tom was even doing this. He’s becoming my favorite comedian because of constant leaps in unique directions alone. I don’t even care if I like it. I like watching him attempt it. (I DO like this btw, just not why I watch). Shout out to you, Buns. Hope to see you on stage one day. ✊

I like how some of the subtitles are still in spanish lol. There are a lot of spellings of the word wey...but for those that want to know the true spelling it is this way "güey ." Secondly, in this context he is using "jefe" as his dad, but yet they put chief...but I mean I guess it could be him using drug dealer slang and rankings, so thats probably my mistake. Also with "chinga su madre" its more like "fuck all that noise" or "fuck off" or any variation in between. Just for those that are wondering what these slangs are since they are mexican slangs/phrases. Enjoy~

I probably wont get an answer on this but i thought id throw out the question just in case,
To me, the way Tom Segura speaks spanish is, well, it kinda sounds a bit different in comparison to other fluent spanish speakers like benicio del toro, pedro pascal, or antonio banderas. I'm not sure how to describe it but, i was wondering if anyone else was hearing it or if it was just me. Is it just a minor lilt/pitch accent difference or is it just me?

The word Cholo comes from an Indigenous word. I think it's spelled Xoloani or Choloani. Meaning Those Who Live On The Run or some shit. When we were conquered and indoctrinated by the Europeans to worship their God it's what the indigenous people would call those who chose not to believe and wouldn't reform to belittle them. Cholos from the root are a culture of rebellion. It's why they don't comply with laws lmao. Tho the message has somewhat been lost throughout the generations. Its nice to know that some places still find it derogatory tho lol
