So I've got a serious question about this type of video. How did you all feel about the length? I want to keep it short enough so that people still have a reason to pay for the full VOD on the main channel, but I also want to make it long enough to be worth watching. This is a little bit longer than I'd like and it kept more rants than I would usually keep but it's just a test run. Let me know your thoughts!
I liked that it was a full segment and felt like a complete video on its own, rather than being just a trailer for the paid content. Slightly more editing could've improved the pace, but it was a good watch as it is.
After deeply contemplating this for about ten minutes, I finally get the point of Killer Whales - it's as much a scam as crypto itself. The entire point of this show exists as propaganda to inflate the worth of the project. It doesn't matter if you sink or swim. Stupid people will see the tag "FEAUTURED ON KILLER WHALES", find out that Killer Whales is the crypto version of Shark Tank, nod, and invest 50k without any due diligence. It's, frankly, a little sickening
The really pitiful part is that the "Whales" aren't looking to invest in anything. There's no business opportunity being presented here for anyone. The people, who get 5 "Swims" from the panel "are rewarded with invaluable mentorship from the Whales and a promotional package from CoinMarketCap, ensuring their project receives the spotlight it deserves." But on this the hosts aren't negotiating to invest in these projects so they didn't need to copy that disclaimer. The other problem is there is no market for recycled plastic. Ensuring there is actually a useful stream of recyclable material is like the hardest part of any project (like aluminum or glass recycling) and with plastic people just throw it all into a big pile. it's not even the same *type* of plastic.
@@mopanda81 glass you can melt and then reshape. only issue is color sorting, alcohol is in brown or green glass for a reason. aluminum incredibly easy to recycle. same with some other metals. plastics yeah unless you can turn that back into oil than you cannot recycle it easily.

This is a show like Dragon's Den (or the US version Shark Tank), but Dragon's Den has the investors bidding for equity in the companies that are presenting, & offering access to their logistics & supply chains & pre-existing relationships with other big businesses like supermarkets. What are the "Killer Whales" offering? Cos it won't be capital. They want to cosplay being venture capitalists but they're just fucking cryptobros (& 1 cryptosister, obvs). Are they offering access to their platforms & audience? Why does there need to be a unanimous vote? If these people were really, actually, entrepreneurs, they'd jump at the chance to invest in something they saw potential in but everyone else wrote off. I guess this works as well as NFTs do to grow the brand of crypto in general so actual venture capitalists can recoup them sweet gains before the inevitable market crash
