I'm glad she'll be playing puyo in the tournament. I like puyo far more. However, that strat is lame. It's just letting luck determine your combos while trying not to lose.
Interestingly, at the very top level of play, Tetris players will always beat puyo puyo players because they can send out the junk so quickly that the puyo puyo player can never build any combos. On the other hand, any junk that the Tetris player receives can still eventually be used to create tetrises. That being said, you have to be truly pro level; not even Suisei has that level of skill. For most players, PuyoPuyo is indeed op cuz the combos are just overwhelmingly powerful

@@madnight1553 haha yeah I get how you feel. After all, Suisei's level is already mind-boggling, so it's hard to imagine what's even better. Watching a bit of it, I'd say that while Suisei's gameplay shows hard work and talent, higher level gameplay shows a level genius which is honestly hard to even understand. It's probably that they read the entire sequence of upcoming blocks and can freely build that into formations smoothly and incredibly quickly. Just looking at their gameplay, you'll find them placing blocks left and right in sometimes weird positions, then before you know it, they've filled it all in and they're doing T-spin triples and other crazy stuff lol
@@madnight1553 yea just watch players like doremy who are wayy above suisei and then wait till you realise there is still a level of players who make doremy look noob in ppt like furea,amemiya,kazu. If we include other tetris games like jstris and tetrio where you arent speed limited then there are even more players like czsmall,diao,blaarg,vincehd all who make even kazu look kinda mediocre
