Surprisingly, it's the fans making drama right now. Some stupid fans are even wishing the company and remaining members all fail. Some stupid shit you see in reddit and youtube these days
Honestly, Bae couldn't have said it any better. Change is scary. Sometimes people who disagree with that decides to leave to do their own thing. Or sometimes it can lead to worse situations that hurt other people. But there's also the golden chance of being something even better.
My hearts out to bae, and the other talents for having to bear the hearts of many viewers as well. But I appreciate her also recognizing that its not a black and white situation and navigating this the best she can for us. For someone who's generally a zoomer zooming around and having fun, she shoes that she can stop and be mature at least and I can appreciate that. I'm moreso hoping we get some answers that we can get answers to rather than knowing everything going on, because this year has been ROUGH for alot of us. And knowing more than whats given to us now is kinda important. Seeing as the speculations aren't quite invalidated by just saying nothing is going on or you cant know everything. But I don't wanna doompost I just wanna know whether or not the talents currently will be able to succeed without sacrificing themselves to the wheel.
You know what has hurt me more (mentally) than all the doomposting I've been seeing on Twitter? Imagining Fauna as well as the other talents seeing the doomposting, because it's obviously going to show up in their feeds even if they're not tagged. No matter what problems Fauna had with management or the direction of the company, I refuse to believe she wanted the downfall of the whole company, and yet we have people saying this is the beginning of the end. Can you imagine how the person behind Fauna must feel reading that? How it would feel to see multiple people in depression/despair or threatening their own health/lives over you going away? Yikes.
i absolutely understand her perspective and she obviously knows way more then any of us ever will but i’ve always been a if it’s not broke, don’t fix it kind of guy. they were going along perfectly fine doing what was working, things changed, now people are leaving. hopefully it works out for the best for all involved, both those staying and those going but it doesn’t mean i personally gotta like it. remember support the talents not the corporations.
Working in a company can be strict and since Hololive have gone public, that's a problem for some talents. From chill streams to a more tight scheduled streams, it's understandable. I've worked in so many companies before and now it's our own business and I'm chill in everything I'm doing compared to back then.
Bae knows how to be professional and serious when it really matters. I'll trust her on this. Yes the company has changed, but it doesn't necessarily mean the change is throwing people under the bus. Remember guys, please don't speculate, take official statements from the talents or the announcements.
The biggest flaw I'd say about Hololive is having their only studio in Japan while expanding globally; especially when it's the more idol-focus vtuber agency. Flying to Japan everytime for any 3D event is quite taxing I'd say and not everyone can move to Japan because it's quite a big risk as well; if you follow Zeta and Bae's early days in JP you'd know.
I would say moving to Japan is more of a personal choice. Member either really wants to move to Japan or not. Bae had stated that moving would bring more opportunities for her and more convenience. Meanwhile, Fuwamoco wanted to move back to Japan. Biboo stated she wanted to live in Japan. That said, there are many reasons why a member choose not to go that route. Hell, I’ve seen quite a few members say one reason why they choose not to move is because they have pets. Which is actually realistic reason.
It's indeed disadvantage but I will not say that is a BIGGEST Flaw There are alot of things to consider regarding 3D studio outside Japan How many we need it ??Where will be location? EN members all over the world How about quality, cost, and their reliability ?? If the quality will vary for each studio, it can cause problem and uninvited criticism Then if they do outsource, there's concern of the member personal safety and private identity Take accounts alot of that, it much cheaper to fly them to JP "for now" Hence why they give member home 3D
It may not be as bad a situation, since they have already amassed a following if they want to go indie then they will still do good. From what I have been reading, it seems that this change in direction is unavoidable since it was necessary for cover to go public. It may be good for the company in the long term or bad, who knows but this somewhat of a change in brand identity will surely have an impact to the current supporters of cover. I just hope it doesnt follow the lifecycle of companies where they amass a lot of customers at the beginning, monopolizing everything, then claw their customers for profit and then dies out.
Graduation, be it the normal one or the soft one feels like seeing someone suddenly gain a timer above their head. Even if you know why, you can't stop the timer. It's both trying to spend time together, supporting and creating "last" memories but at the same time a slow and painful reminder of their departure. Many people and even nature itself may cry during the day and maybe days after the departure of Mother Nature but as long as someone carries the will/saplings, a "new" world tree and new generations of trees will be born thus creating a new cycle of life.
I was always mostly okay (just extremely shocked whenever a big one happened that I personally knew and loved, Fauna is EASILY the closest vtuber I followed and watched since debut that retired) But realizing the loss of the collabs Faunamart, anniversary with the same jokes, the memes and other members still joking and referencing it, etc. All of those won't happen anymore It's a real loss, and it's genuinely sad
People need to get a grip about members having different opinions. Different perspectives are not necessarily a bad thing or out of touch and members also may have completely different experiences. In fact, you start piecing together what isn't the problem the more they talk about it. I feel like it's become more clear, but people keep throwing in red herrings. Shiori also discussed this today which provided more insight on some speculated points.
Fauna said that if she can help it, she love to stay but management have other ideas. Basically it's not "leave by choice" but literally forced to choose to leave.
I don't want or don't like jinxing it, but if the direction that current hololive heads to heavily affected the passion of streaming-centric talents, them two have that plausibility too. It just best to be prepared ...
@faidzeelhisyamhattar2133 Stop spreading rumors. You took what fauna said and then added your own fanfiction to it so that it would support your agenda. That is not right.
Sometimes i forget that Indies joining corporations are just them taking steps up to gain something. Then perhaps someday they would come back down to their original position to share what they gained.
I'm sad and really want to know what kind of "changes" that forces Fauna to leave us. However, hearing Bae's talk, especially about the changes that would bring about the growth of the company comforted me enough. I don't really need to know what went on behind the scene, it's not really my place. I'll get better, move on and continue to support both Fauna and Chloe right to the end. Just like Bae said, let's make this a great Christmas for both girls!
oh my god for the love of. there is not going to be another rebranding. this was a heavy exception due to specific factors that was NOT a lack of members. factor 1. Project Hope was dead in the water so it made no sense to keep Irys there. factor 2. Irys was already collabed heavily with Council and was consided by the community to be an honory council member its even in the name the community gave CouncilIrys. factor 3. Sana had graduated its because of ALL these factors that the merge between Council and Project Hope was made. its not going to happen again
@dawnseeker176 Whoa, I didn't get into Hololive til Christmas last year, Gura sneaking into my Christmas music playlist, didn't even know what a Vtuber was, best thing that happened to me, Add or subtract, it changes the dynamic. Most of these people will still exist in some form or another. Sad for Chloe also, my favorite Hololive cover is Sakamata's Never enough cover. They will be missed.
@@Throughthelurkingglass apologies for snapping its just i have seen too many people going around speculating about future merges and this one was the boiling point
@@dawnseeker176 Don't apologize to a piece of 💩 like myself, I'm really just here for the karaokes. But I'll catch some clips now and then. What I suspect in most cases is that they wait until they are confident enough to be commercially successful themselves and go out on their own.
I appreciate Bae so much for this. It doesn't shake the fact that I will never see Fauna on stage again, and I'm shaking my fist at the sky as to why fate has to be so cruel as to deny HoloFES 2025 to my oshi.
It's one thing to be concerned (and everyone has a right to be), but it's another to speculate in a way that you're directly bringing your guesses and grievances to the members themselves. Seriously, that asshole sending Bae supas during this stream trying to insinuate she's being forced to do PR talk... People need to take a step back and think things instead of just getting lost in all the doomposting and negativity. You think it's hard for you? Imagine how much harder it is for the talents who directly work with the graduating members, who know them beyond the image they present online. Anyway, there's nothing wrong with taking a break if things feel awful, or even completely walking away from hololive and picking up a different hobby. Goodbyes are inevitable
Honestly, I get that there will be a change but its obvious that there's not as much room for creative streaming focus unless you can be really really successful at the whole idol aspect and deal with the new workloads. I know Bae loves and supports what this change is but its been REALLY damaging to the other talents. Altare almost lost it when he had to vent how awful management was. What we originally saw was Yagoo decide to let the talents flourish under what they wanted to do with the magic they brought, the fact that is going away for more generic corporate machinery isn't enticing, especially if we're going to see the meat grinder that is a "successful" idol company.
Bae understand how Fauna beginning to leave though, but she do know fans pain and agony about this. So, treasuring is the best way to save the final months
Yup, but at the end of that alot of us won't be around supporting Holo afterwards. Bae is right, it's changing, and alot of us aren't there for the new version.
@@wc9760 I kind of expect a lot of older hololive fans to consider abandoning the company after awhile. We want the girls and their streams not so much the traditional idol stuff though that is part of the package. If they are moving in the direction of more idol work and less streams than that just means less reason to watch for long time fans.
Treasure your oshi's guys here and in the future. After Aqua, I know that everything will be ok. They'll stream again somewhere else so just enjoy the time now and continue to support your vtuber wherever they maybe.
Honestly did not expect this, but then I guess it's expected with all the changes happening with the corporation. Glad the rest of Council is doing okay, er I mean Promise. All the best to Fawna with her new streaming identity.
in the absence of explanation, people will assume. if it is a negative event, then it will be a negative assumptions. thats just human nature. but i dont blame the talents' inability to explain. thats not their job. it is cover's, but they will probably keep silent.
Bae: Mumei is ok... She'll be ok... Mumei: Civilization without nature will not last long... Bae: Kronii is ok... Even if is hard to tell, cause she always says no in a joke form Kronii: I wish I could just... stop the time to have you by my side forever... but if I do that... your beautiful leaves wouldn't be different form plastic ones... Bae: Irys is ok... everything will be ok Irys: ... Hope is the last one lost... even if everything ends soon or not... Hope... must... stay up... Bae: is Bae Okey? ... I'm okey... We all be ok... With enough time... Everyone needs time... Stay strong guys, not just for yourselves, not just for those who are leaving... But, for those who remain and can't always stay strong PS: This is not a funeral
I think is very clearly now, those who want to focus on COVER’s new direction would just move to JP not only for opportunities but also for more healthy work/life balance. Been an oversea talent would cost too much to participate those practicing rehearsal and recording thingy. They would have no way to streaming regularly. Or the regularly would be just few days in months or much longer. I think all En talents are facing this crossroad in this moment. Been an idol or streamer.
@@Tahanok2 They wouldn't get rid of her, she's fine with idol stuffs. She's also fine with the constant of having to fly to japan when she needs to do some 3d rehearsal. So no, they wouldn't get rid of her. This is probably the "disagreement with management" that Fauna's talking about. Fauna probably wanted a middle ground but japan being japan is stubborn and wouldn't budge so she's forced to end her contract go indie.
these issue also hurt other members as the fans flood them for answers etc etc.. so if the fans of the girls leaving just think how there gen mates feel to know this is all going on and then floooded by the fans . makes it worst for them
Everyone is missing the point that all the members are free to speak of such topics. About management, work etc. If Holo were to be truely an abyss of evil. They wouldn't even be able to speak up the alphabet "M". Pekora talked about it, and a lot of others member did cover this in the past and present. It's normal to be concerned and criticize in a healthy manner. Like who's not fustrated as a fan. We want Hololive to prosper, that's why we care. On the other hand doom posting won't get you anywhere. Just proves how childish/tourist/anti/careless of a personality you have. We are in this together as a community so express and relieve.
Yes Yaggo. Burn the house down before you betray the people who helped you build it. You made Chloe shill a playing card on her graduation announcement.
My feelings are so mixed. How is management reacting? What rules were changed that Fauna felt so against. Change does not always mean growth. That's corporate speak. Disagreement is not irreconcilable reasons to leave. Softening language can hide reality from yourself. I thought they value their talents. The front-line workers. I acknowledge the behind the scenes talent that makes presentations so amazing. I appreciate organisers and planners that hold corporate teams together. I don't appreciate enforcers that curb creativity because they defending their jobs that they do poorly. I don't appreciate suffocating beurocracy that cancels front-line talents' motivation/hope/dream/joy. That is when crushed talents have unreconciled differences with management. Unreconciled differences = crushed freedom/joy. Sorry for the rant. If it speaks to you, please understand we can't change the outcome. Take care of yourselves and loved ones. ❤😢
"Disagreement with management" means they either wanted her to do something she didn't want to do or she wanted to do something they didn't want to do and both were either unwilling or unable to compromise so she quit which is how every job goes. "Curbing creativity" as you put it means not letting talents do things that can damage the company's reputation and image or get the company in legal hot water because a copyright holder didn't want their content streamed for free to 100s of thousands of people or a mom didn't want her little one to hear about the birds and the bees from an anime pirate girl playing Minecraft. Valuing your talent isn't giving them free reign to do whatever they want at the expense of the company.
I can accept 1 or 2 members graduating since they've been they've been doing this for a long time but having 4 or possibly more graduating for a very short amount of time is very concerning and with no clear answers, speculations are bound to be made. Hololive was supported because of THE talents, having to see them go one by one continuously is very alarming. Though its true hololive has been changing for the past few years, how can you accept them if that resulted to keeping those talents away? Can you still support the company when every single one of your oshis decide to leave prematurely?
Just being able to address that there are disagreements with management is already impressive in terms of openness. Any form of transparency is highly appreciated

Surprisingly, it's the fans making drama right now. Some stupid fans are even wishing the company and remaining members all fail. Some stupid shit you see in reddit and youtube these days
@@dingusuhum there are a lot already lol. Nijisisters already making all sorts of propaganda while their Yacht is still sinking

HoloPromise lost two members, but they became legends
Promise forever
Losing two members is a painful way, but they are part of Family
Essentially the two of them are HoloCouncil...
I need to hear from Moomz before I could actually accept its only 'two'
Sana is not HoloPromise, She's HoloCouncil.
Honestly, Bae couldn't have said it any better. Change is scary. Sometimes people who disagree with that decides to leave to do their own thing. Or sometimes it can lead to worse situations that hurt other people. But there's also the golden chance of being something even better.
Regarding Fauna, people are upset because Fauna was not happy with the decision.
People are going to have to get used to it. Not everyone leaves their job on good terms.
It's life.
Yikes.

noooo you can't do that its doxing or something and its bad for the corporation!
@@GetterRayhow is it bad for the corporation? Isn't it usually bad for the vtuber?
i absolutely understand her perspective and she obviously knows way more then any of us ever will but i’ve always been a if it’s not broke, don’t fix it kind of guy. they were going along perfectly fine doing what was working, things changed, now people are leaving. hopefully it works out for the best for all involved, both those staying and those going but it doesn’t mean i personally gotta like it.
remember support the talents not the corporations.
Working in a company can be strict and since Hololive have gone public, that's a problem for some talents. From chill streams to a more tight scheduled streams, it's understandable. I've worked in so many companies before and now it's our own business and I'm chill in everything I'm doing compared to back then.
It would be wonderful to see people push Fauna to 1M subs before the end. She's been such a tremendous part of this gen and we appreciate her so much
Or push her _LemonLeaf_ to 1 Mill instead that way she can land on her roots.
Which is actually realistic reason.
i expected the whole "ame is still in touch" to mean they could go to her studio and rent it so as to have an america based 3D studio.
It's indeed disadvantage but I will not say that is a BIGGEST Flaw
There are alot of things to consider regarding 3D studio outside Japan
How many we need it ??Where will be location? EN members all over the world
How about quality, cost, and their reliability ?? If the quality will vary for each studio, it can cause problem and uninvited criticism
Then if they do outsource, there's concern of the member personal safety and private identity
Take accounts alot of that, it much cheaper to fly them to JP "for now"
Hence why they give member home 3D
@@TheBongReyes the pet thing is especially true for Fauna too
If you say it like that, in other words, the biggest flaw is not having enough money.
I appreciate Bae's opinion on this- I really needed some cool-headedness in the chaos of twitter and reddit atm lol
7:36 Thank you Bae 😌
It may not be as bad a situation, since they have already amassed a following if they want to go indie then they will still do good.
From what I have been reading, it seems that this change in direction is unavoidable since it was necessary for cover to go public. It may be good for the company in the long term or bad, who knows but this somewhat of a change in brand identity will surely have an impact to the current supporters of cover. I just hope it doesnt follow the lifecycle of companies where they amass a lot of customers at the beginning, monopolizing everything, then claw their customers for profit and then dies out.
Bae: "Im just sniffling because I woke up im not crying"
We're all sniffling 😭
It's literally raining indoors for the past 3 days... The weather forecast is a lie!
We just woke up 😢
Graduation, be it the normal one or the soft one feels like seeing someone suddenly gain a timer above their head.
I was always mostly okay
(just extremely shocked whenever a big one happened that I personally knew and loved, Fauna is EASILY the closest vtuber I followed and watched since debut that retired)
But realizing the loss of the collabs
Faunamart, anniversary with the same jokes, the memes and other members still joking and referencing it, etc.
All of those won't happen anymore
It's a real loss, and it's genuinely sad
Fauna horror series was on of my all time favorite things. And her horror asmr... we r losing this year..
holopromise becomes holo survivor
Bae is trying and succeded on not crying mid stream and i respect that about her
After she said Mumei was Moomin, I expected Kronii to be Kroning
"are you okay?"
*memories start flooding in 😔
We cannot avoid changes. Let’s face it head on together. Adapt, improvise, overcome.
Almost everything has a nuance to it but some people can only deal in absolutes.
I honestly didn't expect fauna to be the first to leave by choice I expected either Kronii or mumei
I think Kronii will probably be the last of this gen to leave, myself.
@faidzeelhisyamhattar2133 Stop spreading rumors.
You took what fauna said and then added your own fanfiction to it so that it would support your agenda.
That is not right.
just wait...
Bae: Kronii are you okay?
Kronii: No.
Bae: Okay.
I don't buy it. Sounds like a lot she's trying to put a lot of Positive spin on the situation.
@@BladeMasterIcarus Everyone has different situations and perspectives, for Bae this new direction is oportunity, for Fauna is a disanvantage.

It started as Council, now it is Promise, what are they gonna change to next😞
oh my god for the love of. there is not going to be another rebranding. this was a heavy exception due to specific factors that was NOT a lack of members.
factor 1. Project Hope was dead in the water so it made no sense to keep Irys there.
factor 2. Irys was already collabed heavily with Council and was consided by the community to be an honory council member its even in the name the community gave CouncilIrys.
factor 3. Sana had graduated
its because of ALL these factors that the merge between Council and Project Hope was made. its not going to happen again
Please don't leave us any time soon, Fauna hurts, Ame hurt, but losing the rat would be devastating.
Bae have become our insider news reporter lol but yeah I'm really relieved that there's no drama.
Poor Bae, her gen is the only one to have two graduations in it, luckily Irys kinda joined her gen so they still got 4 of them left.
On a completely unrelated note, saplings may be cheered up by a cute song on the lemonleaf channel.
o7 footbros, our two barefoot goddesses had to leave us
Some people have their own strength. And when your strength is not fit to the company's goal, you can't unleash your potential.
I have Sanas graduation stream saved. I know I can't show it. Fauna will be another hard one to watch.
@@BladeMasterIcarusinteresting, I think the opposite will happen. The newer fans will leave while the older fans stay.
We just need to keep supporting all the remaining members❤
Even if is hard to tell, cause she always says no in a joke form
Kronii: I wish I could just... stop the time to have you by my side forever... but if I do that... your beautiful leaves wouldn't be different form plastic ones...
Bae: Irys is ok... everything will be ok
Irys: ... Hope is the last one lost... even if everything ends soon or not... Hope... must... stay up...
Bae: is Bae Okey? ... I'm okey... We all be ok... With enough time...
Everyone needs time... Stay strong guys, not just for yourselves, not just for those who are leaving... But, for those who remain and can't always stay strong

Yep, this^
this is directly contradicted by shiori and even fauna herself. so please do stop spreading speculation
So you're saying they'd get rid of Kiara then?
@@Tahanok2 They wouldn't get rid of her, she's fine with idol stuffs. She's also fine with the constant of having to fly to japan when she needs to do some 3d rehearsal. So no, they wouldn't get rid of her.
This is probably the "disagreement with management" that Fauna's talking about. Fauna probably wanted a middle ground but japan being japan is stubborn and wouldn't budge so she's forced to end her contract go indie.
@@Tahanok2 I think kiara is the one would go along with COVER’s new direction really well. She has the passion of idol performance.
Normal that a company changes as bigger it gets
Its no longer a council, they're a triumvirate now.
these issue also hurt other members as the fans flood them for answers etc etc.. so if the fans of the girls leaving just think how there gen mates feel to know this is all going on and then floooded by the fans . makes it worst for them
As leader of her gen, this must be doubly hard for Bae.
aw man im not ready to see kronii broke again after her last collab with ame
Is Kronii ok is always a tricky question to answer
Everyone is missing the point that all the members are
free to speak of such topics. About management, work etc.
If Holo were to be truely an abyss of evil.
They wouldn't even be able to speak up the alphabet "M".
Pekora talked about it,
and a lot of others member did cover this in the past and present.
It's normal to be concerned and criticize in a healthy
manner. Like who's not fustrated as a fan.

切り抜き師仕事早いっすね、いつもありがとうございます。
Change can be good, I'm sure it's great for the investers, now that the stock is public. Less sure about it being good for the talents though.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I wonder why fauna didn't choose the affiliate but straight up graduation instead
Fauna's just hurts.
Let’s support them as much as we can
I can accept 1 or 2 members graduating since they've been they've been doing this for a long time but having 4 or possibly more graduating for a very short amount of time is very concerning and with no clear answers, speculations are bound to be made.
Hololive was supported because of THE talents, having to see them go one by one continuously is very alarming. Though its true hololive has been changing for the past few years, how can you accept them if that resulted to keeping those talents away? Can you still support the company when every single one of your oshis decide to leave prematurely?
Bae❤
the one who graduate with the same reason is Aqua, Chloe and Fauna while Ame is not.

Just being able to address that there are disagreements with management is already impressive in terms of openness. Any form of transparency is highly appreciated
It's a sad fact that any of your favorite vtuber will just leave one day.

I'm in pain so I'm wondering which 4 talents will be graduating next year
EN gen 4 only being 4 members was planned from the beginning. With myth and promise going to 4. Fuwamococo coukd be considered 1. That’s crazy.
The members that move to Japan and the ones that have no problem traveling there twice a month will be ok.
We / They need to come up with a more concise phrase or word than "ceasing streaming activities but remaining affiliate" >_>
