2:24 yeah, I’ve only been doing all this gig stuff for about 6 months but yeah initially 3 customer orders were overwhelming for me until I really learned Publix’s layout and started pulling shopping carts to get through the masses meandering around the store.
If the 3 customer order does have a high item count, AND it’s been really slow, and it doesn’t seem like I would easily be able to separate things in one cart, I just use two carts.
Initially it sounds like it would be slower but what is actually slow for me is worrying about mixing things up on one cart and double-checking things every other item…
Pushing one cart while pulling the less heavier one works for me.
I even take an empty cart at the end of a large double so I don’t have to police the baggers on how to keep things separate. Only at Publix though.

i only do Target orders ater 4pm. those orders are 90% going to households rather then to no tip colleges. The reason people dislike Target orders is because most of the time it isn't only grocery items. plus they are out of stock on a lot of items. including, but not milited to food and cleaning to beauty supplies. Diamond cart isn't worth it. i have been there many many many times before. BIG tip is to do local grocery stores after 4 or 5 pm. you can still make good money from 6pm tp 10 pm. but the mid day rush is 4pm tp 5pm.

I don’t do Target orders, either because they usually are heavy on the cosmetics and those aisles are so confusing!!

Today I had a double order and it was tough because one order had one item and the second order was at the dollar tree and the second customer had 100 units and there was one cashier at that store and a huge line and then I couldn’t take the cart to my car.. took forever and then drop off for the big order was downtown it took a lot of time for a small tip

I live in Canada and we don't any close to these numbers? I know must of the money is from tips, but I can get a 30 items walmart order that is 9.2 miles away paying $16 + -. It's a joke. This also goes for costco too.

If it wasn't for the instacart shoppers their would be no instacart. I don't understand how they can lower the pay for the shoppers who keep instacart in business. That's pure evil.

thank you for letting memakea comment. 1st of all. if you look at double and triple orders batch pay (without tip), the pay is so insulting. instacart is making so much on these orders. so, let me ask you. if there was no tip on these orders, would you accept them? keep in mind customers can change the tip. so you really can get burned on them. thanks again for letting me comment. Good Luck Everyone !!!

She didnt state it, but that comes out to 32 an hour before expenses, which is actually quite impressive, especially if stacking some uber eats along the way and such. Not bad. Id have expected half that much.
