    It always amazes me how much slack in the rope these young kids can get away with on landings. They are so light. If I had 4 or 5 feet of slack, I’m either letting go, or getting yanked over on my face.

    Every video is entertaining and I am learning at the same time. One question, I am working on wake to wake, what rope length, speed, and ballast would be good to start out with. I have a 2024 gs22

    • @Shaun.Murray
      @Shaun.Murray  21 день назад

      Love to hear you're enjoying them and learning. Have you checked out some of my content, especially on the GS22? Check out some of the playlists and let me know if you have questions.
      to answer your direct question, 50-55' 18.5ish, plus or minus a few tenths. No ballast when learning to use the proper physics

  • @scottedwards6117
    @scottedwards6117 21 день назад

    Shaun, you definitely helped me this year, I'm starting to get it. My biggest question is whether my board is too big. I'm 310 about 6'3" I know I'm not gonna get crazy, but I have a slingshot Nomad 160, because I could not find a 150 or 155. So It's really hard to slow down, at anything less than 18 mph, its like being pulled through mud, this really makes practicing getting air and landing tough. Would a smaller board help?

    • @scottedwards6117
      @scottedwards6117 21 день назад

      I'm on a 23 g23 so it doesn't know how to make small wakes.
