Despite the animation quality this show can be pretty good at times, The voice acting makes this 1000 times more enjoyable to watch for sure. Also shame the hour long vid got taken down, feels bad dude.
Honestly, the deviations from the main story, like fighting Tsukasa and the aftermath of Palace 7 (hint: in the game, someome gets unjustly beaten up but it doesnt happen in the anime) also helps. It makes the story more digestable as it goes around the more disliked scene in-game

There are things here that are presented better than in P5 vanilla and Royal, especially the Hawaii trip. Even having small moments of the group hanging out outside of missions gives a better sense of the groups’ bond compared to the games.

That's the whole reason they're making these animes. Since the game's how they actually make the money.
That's what I love about Strikers, they actually do stuff as a group and you see their bond as friends. Plus the dialogue feels much more dynamic.

Morgana actually got a gift in this, which wasn't clear in the game (at least in Royal, the only one I played, it seems he doesn't get one due to Kasumi chatting Ren up while shopping). Felt like they were going out of their way to make sure he got ignored when possible to add additional justification to his insecurity and temporary leave later. Worked well narratively, but seemed out of character for Ren in game, since he clearly cares a ton from his thoughts when you interact with anything while Morgana's out.

You know, for all the shit that people give this show. I’ll honestly never understand it. The animation is fine, the voice acting I really like a lot, and I like ren in this more than I do in the game. He’s still silent most of the time but at least he shows some personality.
I like the moments, but honestly the pacing is way to weird for me.

the animation is honestly bad but there are plenty of things in it that make me glad to say i did watch it and had a good time. Same with persona 3 the animation. Persona 4 the animation is the only one that really holds up really well. Hell 4 actually had a cute filler episode
To be fair 4 also had the bonus of being an adaptation of a ps2 game, so the visuals could stand out more in comparison and they also took advantage of the lighter tone of 4.
