Tonka was in partnership with Bandai to bring Japanese toys to America, it was Tonka that created the overall premise, theme and back story etc... Hannah Barbera created the cartoon to launch alongside the toys!! Takara actually used some of Bandais other designs to create Transformers for Hasbro to launch in America. Sunbow produced the cartoon. Both franchises were born from the same designs but (as you said) Go-Bots made it to market first. I do like Go-Bots a lot but Transformers was my childhood!! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m with you, Great Yarmouth is my favourite CEX! I’ve had some great pick ups there. That Go-bots manual is awesome, I only found out a few months back that they were out before the transformers!
I didn't know CEX had started reprinting covers for games?! How long have they been doing that for? I have no problem with it, as long as it's stated somewhere on the cover that it's a reprint.
