John is probably one of the nicest and coolest guys in metal! what he says at 12:00 about the meet and greets, god damn! last time i saw them, after the show he and Carlos (drummer) went to the merch stand, sat there, talked to people who bought their stuff. signed shit, took photos, they even went up to people on their own for a chat - what a great guy, what a great band!

Update: After the show, a group of guys and I were talking to him outside the venue. This. Dude. Is. Fucking. AMAZING!!! Definitely try to talk to him if you can. I knew he was super intelligent, but I walked away from that conversation with a shitload of knowledge.

Woe to the Vanquished is amazing, I honestly think it's on the level with Ride the Lightning. The incoming airstrike part in shellfire is one of my favorite things in any song

John is the nicest dude. Met him during their Worlds Torn Asunder tour in Australia. He was just watching the other bands before Warbringer's set, so we had a good chat and it was mad chill.

And it was very cool to meet them after (i even switched a pick with Chase). So i totally agree with his opinion about the fan meet and greet thing. :)
Kevill is exactly on point about his music and approach. They are on my list 100%. I've seen Warbringer live 3 times in Phoenix and they killed it every time.
talked to John after a Warbringer Show here in Germany a few weeks ago! He's easy one of the nicest and coolest and fucking most metal guys I ever met ! Nice Video tho keep going on!

Haha yeah!! I was at that eye scream festival in Mexico he mentions at the end, great show, they played with Toxic Holocaust. The venue is called Circo Volador, and it is indeed a pain to do a circle pit in there. But still always fun.

6:35 John just summarized my feelings on death metal. A lot of it sounds boring because most bands are more concerned with being extreme then they are about writing actual music. Most of it doesn’t have any substance. Just makes me want to fall asleep.
