Thank you. Quick question, how do you change the aspect ratio of a clip in mocha? I set the project and the clip properties for an anamorphic clip to the 1.33 aspect ratio. However, once opened in Mocha, it reverts to square pixels.
Why do you have version 13 already?? We are waiting =) Nice tutorial, i recently figured this out myself after playing with the mocha export settings and what they give after importing in hitfilm.
out of interest what specs are you ruing to be able to run full preview with ease there. That is great, i always just copy the corner pin information from the composite shot then paste the attributes on the image you want it to be pasted on, corner pin is easy, Would you do a different tutorial on tracking on moch, such as showing how to track a none corner pin and pasteing it on arms or head like wounds, I have figured it out by watching Andrew Kremeer but he dose it on AE but and the settings are a bit different when you bring it into HItfil, but i wanted to make sure i was doing it right :)
I just installed Hitfilm Express on my HP. It has 12 GBs RAM and a 1TB hard drive. My question is, how much disk space does the complete install of hitfilm express take up? I have 831 GBS left out of 915GBs. Also what is the difference between typical installation and complete installation in HitFilm Express?
Great video! Loki makes a great co-host! This is a great way to do digital signs, saving you from having to get them made by the art dept. If you have an actor or something cross in front, is it easy to mask that off? Or is it a frame by frame roto job?
Four Scorpio Productions i think it would be roto and your tracking would be much harder too due to the blocked target. You could green screen the actor in (bad for this shot, better indoors) or cut to a static tripod shot and cover the sign with green cardboard (screen) to eliminate tracking or just have them walk behind the column after panning past the sign for your establishing shot. Basically mostly solve it with the shot and not in post. Friends don’t let friends rotoscope ;)

Or you can make 4 different point layers and track each corner individually then apply the quad warp effect to the corresponding points then boom same effect. Go to shiny films youtube channel to see the tutorial

Raymond St Paul I would really bet on this month or the next at the latest. Already a couple of preview videos so it has to be in late testing you would think. However with software one late discovers bug can delay things so you never know.

If you downloaded Hitfilm Pro, and you haven't paid, you will need to purchase a license to control all features. FXhome also have Hitfilm Express, and that one is free. If you have downloaded Express, some advanced features such as Mocha will be unavailable unless you purchase add-on packs.
What do you mean? If you are talking about Hitfilm Pro, that's normal. You need to buy a license for Hitfilm Pro, while Hitfilm Express is free. If you choose to use Hitfilm Pro without a purchased license, you are still able to use it. Just click the "X" on the tab that asks for a license; the only thing is that your exports are watermarked. You are able to use all the features of Hitfilm Pro, just your exports are watermarked.

is there a size the replacement media has to be? when I 1st tried this with a file that wasn't sized to 1920X1080, it was misshaped.

When I tried this with my footage my whole plane was blue and not the area I masked. What did I do wrong?

I just bought HitFilm Pro and I do not see HitFilm Mocha in my Effects panel? I also don't see the project files to follow along listed on this page
Are you searching "HitFilm Mocha" or "Mocha HitFilm"? (if it helps, I believe mocha is not capitalised in the current version)

Question what if the object is moving out of frame doesn't Hitfilm get confused how do you correct that problem?
Track what you can, do the rest manually.
