I still remember being a teenager and going for a ride on my uncle's G60, that car sounded amazing! 🤩 About the redesign, those wheels are very disproportionate, they look like 20x7j's, and make the car look like it's on stilts, even more emphasized by the body drop you made. Love the rear light treatment but a VW car image should have the appropriate "WOB" license plate, not the "IN" that Audi uses. Also, nice Portuguese Corrado on the intro video. 🇵🇹 Happy holidays, hope you have a great 2023! 👍🏻
That's also one of my favorite VW. I can still remember the first time l saw it in 1990. I watched it pull up next to our Car, it's active aerospoiler dropped, and l nearly lost my mind. The Car's shape was just mesmerizing.

The speed activated spoiler is integral to the cool factor of the Corrado. I love your redesign but could you *please* make a version where a current Audi RS7 style speed activated wing still deploys as the top panel of the ducktail rear spoiler? That would be perfection.
When I started driving I started with a 1.3 1972 beetle. I moved on to a MK1 1.3 that rain on 2 star petrol (so cheap to run in those days). Unfortunately when unleaded petrol took over I had over heating problems. So I got My first GTI. A Mk 1, 8V Campaign. This was great fun But then I had a lapse of judgement and got a Mk2 Astra GTE. I soon came to my senses and then got a Mk 2 Sirocco 8v GTX. Loved that car, even with all of its mileage related problems. So you could say I have VW coursing through my blood stream. In my opinion, when they brought out the Corrado it should have been marketed as the Mk3 Sirocco. Then low and behold they only produced one model of it. Then too top it all they eventually reintroduced the Sirocco. I would have loved a Corrado, but in those days they were just to expensive.
Had all of them. Enjoy the 2.0 8v the most. Weight feels like 50/50 and has enough torque to feel quick. Great repons. Corners are a lot of fun. These cars are really good. Nice sound and cheap to maintain. Straight line roads vr6 offcourse

I always loved looking at this car, and truth be told would love to have one til this day. They are impossible to find, let alone one at a reasonable price point.
Pretty sure they chose 46 MPH for the spoiler in the US is because most moderate traffic roads and state highways have a 45 -55 mph speed limit, so having it be 62 mph would be basically be begging for a speeding ticket on most US roads.

Car manufacturers have lost the ability or desire to design and build cars for car enthusiasts. I don't know how long it took you to do this work, but you put put to shame anything I have seen come from VW for years. I have had my Corrado for 22 years and have seen several people's attempts to design a modern Corrado over the years. Yours blew them away.
The only thing I would say is you need to go back and put some sort of active spoiler on it. VAG has used active aero on so many cars since it was introduced on the Corrado that it is appropriate for that feature to reappear on it again.
I think you made a mistake going with Audi tail lights. The large checkered lights and round tail is one of THE defining features of the Corrado and you completely got rid of it. A reimagining of the lights going modern retro (think Hyundai Vision 74) would have been the right direction to go. Also.. you need the motorized spoiler.
I normally love the redesign videos but I feel like this redesign looks very animated and like he just slapped some audi taillights on it and called it a day. And like someone else on here said, it looks more like a audi Quatro redesign than a Corrado.
The “new” corrado needs a gimmick like an active but hidden spoiler like the mk2 TT or it’s own corrado spoiler that moves . I think with too many edges and body kit it’s starting to look like a Japanese car. Like you said and rightly so the up sweep on the rear arch is the corrados signature along with the over pronounced arch’s. So maybe the new design could have more flared out arch’s . Your design looks good but still looks like a corrado with a odd body kit. I do like the rear lights but I think it’s needs more
