Chicken Coop Upgrade!! Homestead Improvements!

We upgraded our chicken coop on our homestead! We had planned on making our chicken coop into two separate sides from the beginning. Now with a broody chicken about to hatch her first set of eggs we decided it was time to make the chicken coop more functional. We added the extra side of the chicken coop. It will serve as a brooder area or just another coop maybe for turkeys in the future.

The coop upgrade looks good, when will you move broody Betty? I hear that you can move chickens at night when they are roosting.

Thanks! She hatched today. We moved her and the chicks over. I have heard you can at night as well. We let her hatch this time. Next time we will be ready to move her with the eggs!
