Love this because it has so much joy in it, and in turn brings joy! From the voices to the smiles to the carefreeness of it all! Welcome back to Broadway this fall Girl From North Country - hope many get to see you! After seeing this, I've put you on the top of my list of shows I want to see!
This brings back memories for me! When I heard it on the cast album, I got nostalgic, because when I went to frost valley (the summer camp) when I was in middle school, one of the longest serving counselors there would sing a parody song of this about camp life and what have you. Had no idea it was based off of a real song until now.
This show was so boring, made no sense & was extremely confusing. It was trying to be with the times now but, just as you got used to one character another showed up leaving you more confused. It was the WORST show I’ve ever seen. The story didn’t work & was like the writer tried to weave multiple stories from other pieces into one. The music didn’t go together with the show at all. It is very realistic that they would have not one but, two interracial stories at the time. One man who is older trying to marry a pregnant black woman & the other character having an affair with a black woman. Plus, the language with the use of the F word was too much. Back then people did not speak like that. They also would not have had a boarding house with a Caucasian owner & black inhabitants because, how the terrible racism that existed during that time. There was ONE blonde in the show. One. I actually fell asleep because, it was so boring & woke up 🆙 it of respect for the actors trying to polish a turd that never could get polished😅 I actually felt bad for the cast & crew. I’m happy they got paid. It was just so bad:(
Wonderful song ...Happy birthday, Mr. Dylan

I love Frost valley. They moved to NY state.
Who knew Bob Dylan could do Broadway?
There's nothing Bob Dylan can't do
He tried with The Times The Are a Changin unfortunately that flopped badly But then he teamed up with Connor and this Happened
Awesome!
Wow…No words …
thank god for vaccines!
This show looks great, but why have they all got masks on? None of the general public background figures have them on.
Notice how the singing is muted under the mask? Mass hysteria.
