Congrats to your daughter keep up your great work warren i really enjoy watching your Videos there is nothing better than learn stuff from a guy like you 👍
Congrats to your daughter! My boys show their goats tomorrow for our screwed up fair. I've been through klamath during the green fly hatch before, your windshield looks clean compaired to what we had at times. Always enjoy your videos and your common sense. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing bud and congratulations to your daughter for her hard work and dedication with her animals! It pays off in more ways than one very proud of her! Take care now hope all is well bud!👍
My congratulations to your daughter.. Even when you start with good animals, it takes a tremendous amount of effort and perseverance to reach her level. Countless hours of feeding, exercising, training to be handled and grooming. She is to be commended for her effort.
Congratulation on your daughter winning with her goat. I was in 4H when i was younger. Don't worry about the bugs on the windshield they don't have the guts to do it again. Lol
Not bad for a Bubble Head. (I was an Airedale in the Marines). Not only are everyone from the Naval Side of the service my brothers anyone who would volunteer to go to sea in a ship that intentionally sinks is much braver than I. Another GREAT video shipmate!
Congrats to the daughter. My daughter was supposed to do pigs this year but our fair was canceled so now they are going to freezer camp. Glad you guys at least got to do your show.
My sister showed lambs, pigs, steers and turkeys in FFA back in the 90's. She raised and rescued horses until she passed away last year. Being from Texas, I have an idea about it.
Congratulations on your daughter with the goat. Up here in Ontario, Canada we can’t have any fairs or shows at all. My dairy 4H club is strictly online and we don’t have any shows. Keep up the good work
Thanks Warren Congratulation to your Daughter. I used to be in Middle FFA ans Helped the ag instructor when I was in High school, since he was my Boy Scout leader and I was a big kid to put halters on cows for the first time. I do not miss chasing them/me around the snubbing post. He also did an Old McDonald's farm setup so folks new what and where the animals and livestock came from in the late 1970's Florida ag counties. I still remember trying to catch some loose mules to get a rope and halter on and the old farmer lady hollerin' to keep them out of her roses.
Jim Long I will second that. Central Florida area here, twice a year, awful toxic little things. I spray the front of my work van down with silicone spray in between cleanings which is daily.
I see you got on your Best Welding T-Shirt. I own one of those too from all the Mig welding on automotive exhaust systems. There great in the summer. And They Show How Holy You Are!!! All the best from Canada
Warren, I love your approach! "You used to be able to rebuild these"...that was the good old days, for sure!..When you described having to take the column apart to get the harness/pigtail out, I was reminded of some great engineering on the Honda Goldwing motorcycle, where one of the harnesses ran up the middle of the steering stem and barely had enough slack to move. So (as Tim would say), I rewired it. Bought connectors (not Honda, just AMP with enough pins) and added about a foot to the harness, so you could work on it or the steering stem easily and unplug or reconnect as needed and secure it out of the way.
Warren is a computer nerd who likes to work really hard and get really dirty. A very unusual combination of talents. I never see him write anything down and seldom refers to specific job manuals. It's all in his head.
I used to pick up loads of produce in North East Washington. I went to Prosser quite often, too. I know all about the fields and, dirt roads. I live on a gravel driveway here in Angels Camp off Hwy 49.
All the different tractors with the switch and button combinations to access information and settings, makes the video game controllers look like child's play. Growing up I had friends that could do that. I'm guessing none of them work on tractors now.
Was just thinking of the engine issues he went thru before using it while he was rolling across oil, hill and dale. Must have worked out Ok, she sure goes and goes and goes some more.
Wow a Complicated switch right there. I'd bet by the time you get it fixed, the whole steering column will be evolved. Warren be safe around those fires. When I took my training back in the day, we learned that a fire is less predictable than a mad female. 🤔
A dirty work truck usually means money in the bank. Those work trucks that look just too clean always make me wonder just how much work are they actually doing.
Hey warren liked your video like always.. What Computer software were you using to scan? The John Deere. It didn't look like it was your trusted texa ??
4:15 As kids, we would shout 'COW', and then say 'MOO' to the cow, when our parents were driving by a cow. Does your 'Copilot' say 'COW', and then 'BARK' at the cow? =)
I have a cub cadet tractor . Went up a steep hill and it refused to back down. Still runs, but now it won't move. Model 6284. Any thoughts ? Nice video btw, liked and shared.
make sure that you have enough screws to reassemble all those sections before you head back out with parts.. it looked like when you took it apart that the screws were missing in some locations..
Amen on your comment bout political hacks and fear mongering , congrats to your daughter 👍 , so glad she has your knowledge and ethics to guide her. Love the episodes , great real world content beats the hell out of network TV.👍🙏🇺🇸
How did you get into owning your own business and working for yourself. Some day I would like to own my own business but I just don’t know where you would start to find enough customers to make a living and be able to pay your bills.
Easy. Drive around, knock on doors and tell people you'll work on their equipment at half the hourly rate everyone else charges. You'll still be making over fifty per hour, watch as your competitors one by one go out of business and your the only guy in town with everyone else's customers. Then you raise your rates and charge whatever the hell you want. knowing you got those bastards by the balls, and within 5 years you'll sell the shop and comfortably retire. Pretty simple.
People who keep everything clean and tidy don't ever seem to understand that other people are working under pressure, maybe 12hrs. a day and have to squeeze in a little cleaning in thier 10 minutes between things.
I have worked alot of wildfires and the daily pay just the truck gets daily allows them to have brand-new service trucks if they have contracts with the BLM or whoever the contract is through
The more computer stuff the less people who own heavy equipment do their own maintenance or even guys like Warren who haven't kept up with computer coding keep their hands off. This means a lot more business for the tractor agencies.
seems like the john deeres having you coming back for little shit out of any other brand... big repairs and service aside they seem like they are the one leaving a lot of your clients out on the fields more often then others.... just an observation great work as usual warren.

It was always the sidebars that lent substance and humor to the main narrative. Talk to your dogs, instead of the engineers who didn't get it right, the opportunity is PERFECT. check the solenoid coil resistance and wires at plug for forward and reverse . coils short inside when warm .also seen corroded plug terminals.
All the different tractors with the switch and button combinations to access information and settings, makes the video game controllers look like child's play. Growing up I had friends that could do that. I'm guessing none of them work on tractors now.

This is the reason why the last generation of no nonsense tractors are so valuable. No computers of exhaust fluids and such.

Consult the electrical diagrams John Deere do you get them in an online subscription?
When I was young, tractors were simple pieces of kit, made that way so the simple buggers that drove ‘em could’nt “f” them up !
When I was on the farm in the 50 and 60s. Dirt, everywhere we only cleaned what mattered. cosmetic dirt stayed till it fell off or not naturally.
Warren how many city blocks are there in the direction "over yonder"?
