The quality of your products, the great pro videos to explain everything and the sound of your "HI EVERYONE!" are priceless. You are in my airsoft tech olympus. :)
Longer form of NPAS valve gives a lowest fps so the shorter valve gives maximum fps. Actually NPAS gives only a little increase of fps. It's major goal is to give you mechanism to lower your fps for different situations like CQB.
Great video, ra tech has great products, but it always makes me laugh BC its like they are filming on someone's pool table in their basement, and their English is understandable, but funnily bad... I needed to know how npas works, and now I do so thanks.
sometimes i find non native english speakers to have funny accents.. then I remember that these guys know at least one entire other language on top of being understandable in english
@TheUTNUT If the cylinder move with the disc valve when you try to adjust it the overall length does not change, therefore you should prevent the moment of the cylinder.
They do have a bolt made for the GHK AK series with the NPAS kit, however I'm unsure if it works with the 2011 model. Also, just got my GHK. These things are amazing.
Johhnny/RA-Tech I don;t know if you are aware of this, FPS change doesn;t typically shown up until the NPAS is on its maximum length. I believe the width of cylinder have to do with it. Why didn't you guys make an bullet shape cylinder so FPS variation can be made easier? Currently to have a RA-Tech Custom WE M4 at 380fps w/ 0.2g you need to open to the point ~1.25 revolution can seperate the cylinder and disc valve.
recently bought 2 magnetic locking nozzles from RA tech, one for WE scar and one for GHK AK. Both had parts of it snap off right after installment, but never had any problem with RA tech stuff before. Batch control problem?
I've had the Tokyo Marui MWS NPAS for a while and I've found that it is not consistent over time due to the two rubber washers stopping the thread moving not stiff enough - I've unscrewed it and put a rubber o ring between the disk and the valve body over the threads to hold that setting. I've heard somewhere that you can buy proper shims to more accurately and permanently set your FPS, has anyone seen them?
That would only be true if you didn't have a hopup. My 0.7J KTW shotgun with hopup has about the same range as my 2.6J CO2 revolver which doesn't have a hopup. And the shotgun shoots more straight. Your gun probably has a hopup, you just don't use it. Look for a dial near your breech.
@1776PatriotTeen I know that you can do it yourself but to stay legal you have to go to a gunsmith. But the German law is not very specific about airsoft guns so you can do a lot to your guns without having too many issues with the police. I mean there are a lot of player who just use a body with a F in Pentagon on it and build a complete new gun of course illegal, and use it without problems. But its just safer. Not that i care too much about it. Btw the WE M14 is very nice, have it myself.
@ ratech5915 What is the maximum inner barrel length i can use with that NPAS at the moment i'm ussing a 509mm 6.01mm on my WE M16 plattform, it works fine but what about a 540mm or 640mm, possible? without fps los? or consistency los?
The boss, johnny, maybe a fob but he drives a lambo. That tells you how successful this company is. I got most of their part on my gun. Tell you the truth. Their shit is the best replacement part. They all intact with minor wear.
i have a we m14. if i get this npas kit what would be the lowest fps it can be set on because i want to use my m14 for indoors also. indoors in my place is 320-340 fps does it go that low?
2011 and 2012 are pretty much the same. 2012 has the scope mount the 2011 doesnt. but i just got my 1joule and its amazing problem is it just broke haha have to send it back and get another from samoon.
FPS means very little for performance. This is a good thing, as your MP7 is now actually CQB legal. As long as your bucking/barrel combo is good, and your FPS is consistent, your range and accuracy should be good, despite a low FPS (which has very little to do with range or accuracy)
@1776PatriotTeen In fact all modifications that make the gun stronger are illegal or require a gunsmith to do it and a new permission and all that stuff, new F in Pentagon. A lot of people still do it and the police basicly doesnt care as long as its below 7.5J and Semi auto but when they take it and test it youre screwed. Sry for you that you research on wikipedia.
The research done on Mcarterbrown seems to show that less dwell time and faster discharge rate equates to higher gas efficiency. Low pressure does not always mean high efficiency. Just some FYI. Not relevant to video. Maybe RA-tech should make their own GBB. One that doesn't suffer from cooldown.
@HDROSpieler123 Or you can just install yourself. It's not that hard. Your government isn't going to know EVERY single airsoft part! Oh and by the way, simple solution. KEEP IT ALWAYS BELOW THE LIMIT! They won't know if you don't tell them. They will not look completely thoroughly into the gun. That would violate even your countries privacy laws. And finally, they would need the tool supplied to even make the adjustment. Just ship the tool separately. That's what my friend did to his WE M14...
*IcedThy* what do you mean? *Jello* No, I think it's exactly as I wrote it. btw I have the NPAS for the KJW and I have to confess one bad thing... If I adjust it and fire a couple of shots, the NPAS tends to get squezzed by the recoil and become tighter, increasing my FPS... So, there's that
Yeah, not all NPAS are that great on all platform. The MP7 NPAS for example only has a range of 250-350FPS. On my WE SCAR though, I get a 250-400FPS range. You may want to consider converting a normal bolt into a NPAS by tapping the nozzle to accept a screw. There are several videos online to do this. It seems complicated but it is really simple and cheap to do. probably only $20 to do it yourself and you can do it on as many gas blowback guns as you want.

It's major goal is to give you mechanism to lower your fps for different situations like CQB.
So realism would be no NPAS at all
Are you here to explain it or the guy in the video ?
. You complete moron
This was the easiest to understand even with the broken english, nice one mann thank you
wow... extremely professional... and well executed
i think it's amazing that you guys found out this way to adjust the power of a GBB rifle.
Thanks a lot for this video. Extremely well and simply explained.
Great video, ra tech has great products, but it always makes me laugh BC its like they are filming on someone's pool table in their basement, and their English is understandable, but funnily bad... I needed to know how npas works, and now I do so thanks.

very good, educative video. Thank you very much. I will purchase this for my AKS74UN WE if available!
@1776PatriotTeen Yes, but the problem is that the replica may be considered as powerful as the NPAS can go.
Love your work guys!

Thank you I've just ordered one for TM :)
Excellent Engineering! Thank you RA Tech!

npas is great got my l85 down to 330 consistent :D
Very professional Ra-Tech..well done!
Thanks Ra-Tech! Very appreciated!
This is exactly how the factory nozzle works too. It's just not adjustable.
Thank you. Very helpful.

I read somewhere that beyond 600FPS the bb is unstable... but you won't need that power unless if you want to hunt with your airsoft gun XD
Well explained...good job RA-Tech...
Which way dose it increase the fps? Counter clock wise or clock wise ?
It affects speed of a bb therefore it affects ballistic trajectory. So faster bb flies, more straight trajectory it'll have.
That would only be true if you didn't have a hopup. My 0.7J KTW shotgun with hopup has about the same range as my 2.6J CO2 revolver which doesn't have a hopup. And the shotgun shoots more straight.

Very well done presentation!
@Yfr28 It's not like you can see externally. All you do is just lower the power below Germany's laws and keep it Semi-Automatic.
I wonder how consistent this system will work.
so which is one has the higher fps?the short reset or the longer reset of the npas?
Hi ratech. For the KWA Lm4 what model npas do you need?
would this work in an angry gun or wii tech bolt?
@1776PatriotTeen I know that you can do it yourself but to stay legal you have to go to a gunsmith. Does the VFC HK416 also work with this system?
Very good explaination!
@ ratech5915
What is the maximum inner barrel length i can use with that NPAS
at the moment i'm ussing a 509mm 6.01mm on my WE M16 plattform, it works fine
but
what about a 540mm or 640mm, possible? without fps los? or consistency los?
@1776PatriotTeen But you still can make it stronger.
Will is work in the VFC scar?
Can you make a NPAS which cant make the gun stronger? Cause the ability to make the gun stronger can be a problem in Germany
thank you very cool :)
Does it affect the accuracy?
do you guys have the NPAS system for 2011 GHK AKM. could you provide me a link? also does it come with the tools to change the FPS?
hi, ratech5915. quick question. will it work on KWA LM4? thank you.
is there any homework?
The boss, johnny, maybe a fob but he drives a lambo. That tells you how successful this company is. I got most of their part on my gun. Tell you the truth. Their shit is the best replacement part. They all intact with minor wear.
Yeah, i heard that too. :)
El sistema we open bolt es compatible con we mp5 sd3 ?? Marca 420 fps y quiero bajarla a 350 fps
What's the fps range if I put an npas on my we m16
Does the npas make it lower fps and consistent
i have just installed my aluminium bolt with the NPAS installed but how do i change the NPAS/FPS? it only came with a silver right angle key thing.
Lewis Stubbs that key is used for changing the fps
i have a we m14. if i get this npas kit what would be the lowest fps it can be set on because i want to use my m14 for indoors also. indoors in my place is 320-340 fps does it go that low?
I am almost certain that you can make it go that low. Even if the NPAS is not enough for that, you can always use weaker gas.
THK keep working.
@TheUTNUT wa system dont need innser somthin to stick.
Does the NPAS do anything with the origional FPS?
lower fps faster rof?
They would be extremely expensive!
2011 and 2012 are pretty much the same. 2012 has the scope mount the 2011 doesnt. but i just got my 1joule and its amazing problem is it just broke haha have to send it back and get another from samoon.
yes
With the evo hop set and npas valve my mp7 dont get more than 330 fps... disapointed with it

@HDROSpieler123 You can lower the feet per second or in your case the meters per second. Do a little more research before commenting again.

Hmmmmm
4:34 To summarize:
1) (Tighter) *Higher* FPS
2) (Middle) *Original* FPS
3) (Looser) *Lower* FPS
Thank me later : )
Would having a lower fps increase the recoil as more gas is going to push the bolt back back and not to the bb
isn't it the other way around? since less gas is propelling the bb, it'll have lower fps (and probably more recoil)?
*IcedThy* what do you mean?
*Jello* No, I think it's exactly as I wrote it.
btw I have the NPAS for the KJW and I have to confess one bad thing... If I adjust it and fire a couple of shots, the NPAS tends to get squezzed by the recoil and become tighter, increasing my FPS... So, there's that
hmph
hmph?
bruh worse piece to eveer get. my gbb we ak pmc shot 5 meters with this piece.( ra tech npas)
Have you tried tightening it?
Yes I tried both ways

Dave Smith do you reccomend a NPas for a we scar?
