So excited for a month of rereading beloved children's classics 😍 If you're interested, here's the link to my Book of Cymbeline kitten series: bit.ly/thebookofcymbeline 😸
I was absolutely OBSESSED with Hitty’s First Hundred Years when I was growing up!!! It was before I could even really read well and I was just enamored with the illustrations!
This was such an interesting video! I love reading classics and children's books and I'll definitely read more children's classics during March. I read Anne of Green Gables and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass and I just LOVED them. I'll reread Anne of Green Gables for the third time and I really want to read Black Beauty and The Secret Garden, since I hadn't got the chance to read them before.
I loved Eleanor Estes growing up, but never read The Witch Family! My mom read The Hundred Dresses, The Moffats, and the Ginger Pye series to my sister and I and they were absolutely wonderful!
Hi Emma! I love your dress so much! You always wear the prettiest clothes 😊🌸💕 Elizabeth Goudge is also one of my favorite authors of all time (and Louisa May Alcott!) Linnets & Valerians might be my favorite. I'm so glad that you mentioned The All-of-A-Kind Family! I finally managed to collect all of the Dell Yearling paperbacks for this series. I must read them again 🤩 I'm hoping to read more of my Maida books by Inez Haynes Irwin and Honey Bunch serires by Helen Louise Thorndyke, plus finally read a Paddington Bear book and a Cherry Ames (though that might be more YA). Middle Grade March is almost my favorite month (except for Christmas) for reading books. You've shown so many books that I love like Little House on the Prairie, Mandy (must re-read, too!), Hitty and Tasha Tudor! I think I have to read The Borrowers! Thank you for sharing so many wonderful books! Congratulations on your beautiful Cymbeline books, too! Hope you have a super fun Middle Grade March! 🤗💝📚💚
I forgot all about the All of a Kind Family! Loved that series as a kid. I read Mandy last year and really recommend it, it's very sweet. Very nostalgic choices!
Such very excellent choices, Emma! I have a copy of Hitty on my shelf and have never read it, so I may join you in reading it. Also, your blouse or dress is absolutely gorgeous🌹
Hi Emma😁!This was such a fun vlog! I absolutely fell in love💝🥰 with your collection 🥰 & have pre ordered your latest book & the book you released last year.Would be happy to include it in this readathon! Fantastic video! Looking forward to your next vlog. Happy 📚 Reading !!!😁😁😁
Wow, it's so nostalgic seeing all of these books because I had several of them myself! The Witch Family, Hitty, and Tasha Tudor's Dolls' Christmas in particular were some of my absolute favorites. Anne of Green Gables is also on my TBR for March along with a book I got for Christmas called the Landscapes of Anne of Green Gables, which explores all of the places that inspired Avonlea and L. M. Montgomery's other settings!
It was SO nostalgic opening up the box, I hadn't seen those books in awhile - I'm going to have to find some space on my shelves for them Landscapes of Anne of Green Gables sounds wonderful!
I love those Laura Ingalls Wilder's spin-off series. I came across them in my childhood library and read them all again when I graduated college and needed easy reading! I've been wanting to return to The Little White Horse too. I'm buddy reading The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White, The Bell Family by Noel Streatfeild, and The Dolls' House by Rumer Godden for Middle Grade March! I've only read The Bell Family, so looking forward to reading the other two for the first time. I hope you have a great reading month!
So many great books, and many that were childhood favourites for me as well! I absolutely love your shirt/dress. Where is it from? You always have the best outfits.
Loved the first Book of Cymbeline, Emma. Will look forward to the second instalment. I’ve never read Elizabeth Gouge, maybe it’s time I checked out her books out too. 🙏📚😊
That’s so cool, I really enjoyed the secret of moon acre film when I was younger, I had no idea it was based on a book (I googled the little white horse because the plot sounded familiar) just ordered it online and can’t wait to see all the ways ‘the book is better’😊
I remember that movie, it was fun! I wish they'd do even more adaptations of The Little White Horse, it's such a wonderful story. The book is absolutely magical!
@@BookishPrincess Oh, it's lovely! I think you'll like it. It's a darling book about a little girl in Japan who goes to this imaginative school whose classes are in railroad cars. I didn't discover it until I was an adult, but I'm sure I would have loved it as a kid, too.

I thought I was the only one to read The Secret Language when I was a kid. I loved the friendships in the book.
The friendships were so beautiful, it's a fantastic book!

I’d love to reread Little Women too sometime soon. It’s one of my favorites!
The characters are so wonderful, it's always a treat to spend time with the March sisters!
I have been listening to it and love it just as much as an adult as I did as a preteen. Lovely family.

Ohh that sounds like an excellent TBR! The spin-offs of Laura's ancestors are so charming, I remember loving them so much!
Oh my WORD I didn't know there was an illustrated version of Hitty!!!! I need! 😍
It is one of the biggest books in my collection - it's huge but so gorgeous! ❤️
So many great books, and many that were childhood favourites for me as well!
I absolutely love your shirt/dress. Where is it from? You always have the best outfits.
Thank you so much! I found it on an Etsy shop called Mr. Waters New York.

Thank you so much!! 😊 I would highly recommend Elizabeth Goudge, she is wonderful!
You should write Hitty’s Second Hundred Years!
👆👆
Haha, I love that idea, that would be so fun!

I think you will really like Mandy. It is a really sweet story.
I've heard such good things, I'm surprised I don't remember it much! Maybe it will come back as I reread it!
Loving the longer hair!
Thanks! 😊
Just posted my MGM Possibilities to insta and will try to do a video with them later this week! Mine are mostly classics too. 🤗
Ohh I'll have to check it out! Children's classics are the best. 🙌
Did you know that Studio Ghibli's "Arriety" is based on The Borrowers by Mary Norton? 😉
I did just hear that - if I reread The Borrowers, I'll have to follow it up with a watch of Arriety!
Have you read Totto-Chan? By Tetsuko Kuroyanagi? I sooooooooooo recommend it.
No, I haven't! I will have to look it up, sounds fun!
