Nice Reaction! Band Maid has a connection to The Warning. In early June 2024 The Warning went to Japan, collaberated on a song with Band Maid and recorded it for Band Maids next album. The Warning then played 3 shows there with the 3rd one opening for Band Maid. When Band Maid finished, they pushed Pau's drum kit back out and they debuted the song with all of them playing together on one stage! The song is called Show Them and they made an offical video for the song too.

Wow, that’s incredible! I had no idea Band-Maid and The Warning teamed up like that! "Show Them" must be epic with both bands on stage together. I definitely need to check out that song and the official video. Were you able to catch any of those shows in Japan, or did you watch the performances online?

Kanami wrote this song after she lost someone( grandmother?) She kept thinking ” What is life?” and Saiki wrote powerful lyrics based on that. Magical song about humanity 🔥❤️ Band-Maid forever 🔥❤️

Wow, I had no idea Kanami wrote this after such a personal loss. That really adds another layer of depth to the song. I can definitely feel the emotion in the music, and Saiki's lyrics just hit harder now knowing the backstory. Have you experienced a song that moved you this way before? Or do you think this is one of Band-Maid's most emotional tracks? I love how their music always feels so human and powerful.

Thanks a lot for watching and for the awesome comment! The Maids really do have such an epic vibe, right? What did you think of "Forbidden Tale"? Have you been following Band-Maid for a while or was this one of the first tracks you checked out?

@@reylynx So far "Forbidden Tale" is my favorite (closely followed by "The One" and it's pretty close to being my all time favorite favorite. I've been following the Maids since about 2018 after clicking on a YT recommendation for Thrill. I'd being listening to Babymetal, so I was getting a lot of Japanese female band recommendations. Needless to say I ended up binging all the songs I could find on YT, then starting finding ways to purchase their music. I now have all their albums/EPs/singles.

I agree with you about the cymbal sound. It became more and more noticeable probably from the Unseen World album. Although Band-Maid is the only band I listen to these days because of their interesting song structure and arrangements, I just don't like that harsh cymbal sound. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yeah, the cymbal sound isn’t great. It's loud, too bright, and harsh. I even know which sound library they’re using for the drums - EZdrummer 2.
