👀 Excelente obra 😋 Ficha mi contenido! 👏
Found her music yesterday and Im in love with literally every song. It's kinda crazy how big she got in just 1 year. Also, there is a band called Gore. They sound kinda similar. If you havent heard anything from them yet i suggest songs called Pray, Babylon or for smth more emotional - doomsday :)
Amira has a way of drawing people in, doesn't she? I'm with you-her music is so captivating, and it’s amazing how quickly she’s risen in just a year. It speaks volumes about her talent and connection with her audience. I haven’t checked out Gore yet, but those song recommendations sound intriguing! Which one of their tracks is your personal favorite? And what do you think makes their style similar to Amira’s? If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
@@reylynx My fav is either Pray or Angels like you (this one kinda sounds like Sleep Token with female vocals) What makes them similar... well, beautiful ethereal female vocals, atmosphere in their tracks, vibe, heavy parts. Overall they sound really alike. Edit: Pray is their most popular song for a reason. It just fucks :) Probably the best place to start :)
Finally he ads the creepy Goblin technique. Check out the Will Ramos version please as it sounds almost the same in the goblin parts. I think they became friends after Bloodstock.
Wow, the creepy Goblin technique is definitely next-level! I’ll have to check out Will Ramos’s version-I love how distinct his style is, so comparing their approaches in the goblin parts sounds like a fun deep dive. Did they really become friends after Bloodstock? That’s awesome! It makes me curious how much they might influence each other musically going forward. Do you think we’ll see any collaborations between them in the future? If you like my other video, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
@reylynx I saw them talking in a shorts video this summer. I dont know about collabs as they are so different that it would be weird to divide parts of a song between them. I mean it cant be a feature song as both are too big for that. Also there is a huge misconception regarding genres. Yes they are deathcore but while Lorna is basically blackened( black metal) techdeath with some slam and breakdowns Slaughter to prevail is Deathcore heavily induced with nu metal riffs (think Slipknot) Alex has even said he goes for a Corey Taylor style vocal technique in his "clean" singing. 1984, Viking and to a extent Behelit are good examples.
@reylynx oh, and Will has plenty of covers on his channel. Recreant is the one closest to a "Alex growls" and Sleep Tokens Rain with Nik Nocturnal shows his insane range from excellent cleans to growls. There are also professional studies of Will (Operation Throatcamera and We stuck needles in his throat) Both on the charismatic voice channel

Thank you so much for the love! 🙌 It’s awesome to see that this track changed your perspective - Linkin Park really brought that raw, nostalgic nu-metal energy back on this one, didn't they? 🔥 Were there any specific parts that stood out to you, or maybe something that surprised you? Fire right? :) Too face, too good :) Btw, Brad was always there, he is also animated in heavy is the crown with head phones. And he is delivery guy in emptiness machine
Absolutely fire! 🔥 I totally get what you mean, 'too face, too good' sums it up perfectly! 😄 And thanks for the Brad info-he really knows how to make his presence felt in unique ways, doesn't he? So cool that he's in 'Heavy is the Crown' with the headphones, and I didn't even catch him as the delivery guy in 'Emptiness Machine' until you mentioned it! That's so beautifully put. It’s amazing how music can reach into those deep places, isn’t it? I'm really glad Linkin Park’s return brought a bit of that hopeful feeling for you-it’s something so many of us can relate to, that powerful connection to their music. You gotta check out Forgotten, Feel Nothing, Divide, All That I Can Give, My Old Ways, Don't Look Away, and Left Behind.
Thanks for the suggestions! 'Spare Me' already hit hard, so I can only imagine how intense tracks like 'Forgotten' or 'Feel Nothing' must be. Do you have a personal favorite out of these, or is there one that you feel stands out emotionally? I'll definitely dive into them-there's something about The Plot In You's rawness that just connects. Appreciate you sharing these recs! If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
This song will likely be the opening track for the album, and I say that because it makes a few direct references to the last track of the previous album, Something Wicked.
That's an interesting take! It totally makes sense that 'Dystopia' could set the tone for the album with its intensity and thematic references. I hadn’t thought about it connecting back to Something Wicked, but that would add a whole other layer to the album’s storytelling. Are there other lyrics or musical elements you noticed that link it to the previous album? Thanks for sharing your insight! If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
It's hard to pick a favourite Plot song, especially with the variety of what Landon creates, so as you dive into their music, expect to be surprised at every turn. Forgotten is a track that has done really well since it's release, and its also heavy. The ep's that have been coming out for the past year, the production is more dialed in that the old stuff, but I'm quite partial to the album Happiness in Self Destruction for its emotionally driven songwriting. If you like a lot of different genres, I'd definitely also suggest Landon's solo work, which has a ton of variety stylistically from the heaviest shit ever (Ai640) to pop to bluesy rock to whatever else he feels like dabbling in. And on top of all that, he produces other bands, very well. Just one of those guys that is so talented and hardworking that its a little scary lol
Thanks so much for this insight! It’s clear Landon’s versatility makes it hard to settle on a single favorite - I can totally see how each of his projects would bring something fresh and surprising. I’ll definitely check out Forgotten and the Happiness in Self Destruction album; I love it when songwriting dives deep emotionally, so that’s right up my alley. His solo work sounds like a wild ride too, especially with such a mix of genres - going from heavy to bluesy rock? That’s impressive range! Do you have a favorite project he’s produced for another band? I’d love to hear more of his work from that side too.
Landon is such an underrated musician. Outside his work with The Plot In You, he's played a great part in producing some brilliant music, most notably the album Heavener from Invent Animate last year. He knows his stuff!
I didn't know he contributed to Heavener by Invent Animate, but that just adds to his impressive track record. Do you have any favorite tracks from Heavener? I’d love to hear what stands out to you!
@reylynx well my favourite track of all time is Heavener itself! On the original album I have to say I enjoy them all equally, but Immolation of Night is always a standout, super heavy!
are there some connections between this starset song and election of america??Cz the release time is interesting.
I dont think so. It would have released regardless whoever one cuz it would work with whoever was elected cuz both candidates have been in office
%100 Agree man.
"I think this album is going to be a concept album" my brother all of them are.
Haha, you're absolutely right-all of Starset’s albums are concept albums! 😅 They’ve really built this unique world and story that they just keep expanding on. I think I got so wrapped up in the layers and themes that I started talking like I just discovered their whole approach. What do you think of the direction they’re going in this time? Do you feel like they’re diving deeper, or is it more of the same, in a good way? If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
@reylynx well given that this last album is the conclusion to the three part story with divisions and horizons. I expect them to keep it heavy with the sound and depressing with the subject matter. I really just want another devolution breakdown...
you've never listened to Plot before??? lol go watch/listen to "Forgotten".. this is one of my favorite bands and Landon is one of my favorite artists.. he writes and produces every track.. dive into his and Plot's discography.. you won't be disappointed
Thanks for the recommendation! This was actually my first dive into The Plot In You, and I'm really impressed with their sound. I'll definitely check out Forgotten-sounds like I’m in for a treat! Landon's work is clearly something special if he's handling the writing and production. Do you have a favorite album or song that best showcases his style? I'd love to know what stands out to you the most! If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
This is just superbly good 👍
It’s definitely one of those tracks that feels like it’s saying so much with its energy, right? What part of the song stood out the most for you? Was it the blend of their old and new sound, or the powerful message in the lyrics? If you like my other video, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
This is shaping up to be their best album imo
"Totally agree, this album is definitely showing a lot of promise!
Let's get it straight, this isn't new sound for Starset. This had been a legacy type of sound.
Hey! I get what you're saying about the legacy of Starset's sound-totally true that they've always had that cinematic, atmospheric vibe. But I feel like Zakk Cervini brought something fresh to their mix that really stands out. His influence has added a modern, polished edge that’s different from their previous work. The way he balances depth with clarity, making each layer hit hard without losing any of that emotional weight,
This is fucking crazy with love from Odessa Ukraine 🇺🇦
Thank you so much for the love from Odessa, Ukraine! 🙌 I'm so glad you felt the intensity of this track - it’s got such a unique energy, right? What part of the song stood out the most to you? The vocals? The heavy guitar sections? Let me know; I’d love to hear your thoughts! And hey, if you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family! 😊

* ___ * Do you like this song?
I said it in one of my recent videos and I'll put it here, I love how Starset is bringing up the horrible things in the world in their recent songs like my recent albums, it's amazing knowing a band you always listened to is having the same thoughts about the world you're having
Thank you for sharing that perspective! It’s powerful when the music we love begins to reflect the thoughts and worries we’re having about the world. There’s something grounding about knowing a band like Starset resonates with the same concerns. Have you noticed any particular lyrics that stand out to you as capturing these feelings?
@@reylynx literally all of the lyrics in their recent songs LOL
This was a perfect blend between their old and new sound. I feel like this is going to be the album closer with the energy and power it brings, mixed with the timing of its release and the topic I think it is really referring to. Just saying this dropped 2 days after the US election.
Thanks for this thoughtful take! It really does feel like a bridge between Starset's classic sound and their newer elements, right? The energy is just huge, and you’re onto something with the timing - it could absolutely be a powerful album closer. Do you think the election timing adds a layer to the message, or is it more about the overall themes they tend to explore?
@reylynx all the lyrics paint the picture. I feel like this song is them begging for a change. The end of the song with the protesters singing the chorus then the band members all singing it. Too bad we almost had it.
Dexcore is such a fun Band, most of their songs are like this one. Still Alive is more of an unusual song for them.
That's awesome! Dexcore really does have a unique vibe, and it’s cool how they bring a fun energy to their tracks like "Paramnesia." I agree, "Still Alive" does feel a bit different compared to their usual style. What do you think makes that track stand out for you?
Thank You My Producer :D
glad you enjoyed the reaction!
Man, I’ve been a huge Starset fan for years, and seeing you dive into their music is awesome! Their blend of cinematic sounds, sci-fi vibes, and deep lyrics always hits different. Their storytelling is like no other
Their storytelling does hit different, especially with how they weave in deeper messages about society and the future.
Love your reaction man
Hey, thanks a lot for the love!
Dexcore is amazing 🙌🏻 Still Alive has been a very personal song from the band based on their comments and the singalong makes it a great song during concerts connecting the band and the audience. It’s goosebumps material especially when the band is doing an MC before playing it. Now this song is being brutal again but lyrically very interesting. If you go down a rabbit hole with their songs you will notice that the lyrics include several connections to their older songs which is fun to look out for and dicover more with each listen.
Hey, thanks for the comment! I totally agree, Dexcore really has a unique ability to blend brutal sound with deep, personal lyrics. Still Alive definitely has that emotional connection during live shows that hits hard with the audience-it’s amazing how the energy shifts with that singalong moment. I love that you mentioned the lyrics referencing older songs, I’m always down for discovering those hidden connections with each new track. What other songs from Dexcore would you recommend diving into for more of those lyrical ties? It sounds like there's a lot to unpack! If you like my other video, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
@ Songs I noticed so far being linked by name would be: Savior One day The Sky is Crying The Dark Still Alive I haven’t checked if there are any more deeper connections to specific lyrics. Besides Savior they’re all songs without MV so Savior might be a next step if you’ve already done Still Alive. Personal favorites would be Dragout, Naked and The Light though. If you want to go with the more brutal options Earthworm and The Dark, softer and almost poppy 20 and Living Hell. They are also referencing their own band name as “right heart” which is the meaning they are putting to Dexcore (from the anatomical terminology as far as I am aware). Have a good one 🙌🏻
Courtney used to bust out a pig squeal during Beauty of Suffering in their pre-Eternal Blue live shows.
Thanks for sharing that! I didn’t realize Courtney was doing pig squeals in "Beauty of Suffering" back in their pre-Eternal Blue days. It’s always amazing to learn how much versatility she brings to her performances. Do you remember what that was like live? I bet it was intense! I appreciate you dropping this bit of history here. If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
Go check their older stuff! It's worth it!
That's a great suggestion, thank you! I’ll definitely check out more of DEXCORE's older material. It's always exciting to discover how bands evolve over time. Do you have a specific track or album of theirs that you’d recommend starting with? I'm curious to hear more of their style! If you like my other video, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
@reylynx of course! They have two albums, Metempsychosis and a mini album "18". But I highly recommend some of their singles, "Brain washing", "Earthworm", "The Light", and "Self Hatred". (there's so many more good stuff with them I swear😭) Also if you want some ballads like Still Alive, they have "Breath" and "Visitor" (not a single tho)
Tbh not really a fan of "Still Alive" by Dexcore because it sounds like current One Ok Rock. I really miss this kind of Dexcore, which is brutal, breakdowns after breakdowns with angelic voice choruses. Jiluka really sets the bar high that Dexcore had to follow through, and Deviloof should be next in line after Julika would release a video as an answer lol 🤘🎸🇯🇵
It’s cool that you feel this way about Dexcore! I totally get where you’re coming from-"Still Alive" does have a more polished, mainstream feel, which is a big shift from their earlier, more intense sound. There's something special about that raw brutality with the angelic choruses, for sure. The breakdowns in their older tracks definitely set a high standard. Jiluka definitely raised the bar, and you're right, the energy they bring is hard to match. I'm curious, what do you think about Deviloof? Do you feel like they could keep that intense energy alive like Dexcore’s earlier stuff? If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
Hahaha, I love your reaction. :D Dexcore is amazing band, wish they would be more popular.
Thanks so much for the kind words! 😄 I totally agree-Dexcore is an amazing band! They’ve got such a unique sound, and it's a shame they're not more mainstream. What’s your favorite track of theirs? I’d love to know what you think of their other songs!
@reylynx Maybe if they weren't Visual Kei, maybe then they would be more popular, unfortunately Visual Kei is a niche, but I personally love that movement and I think that theatrical side and also visuals adding a lot to their music and MVs. My favourite song? Hmm... They have many great songs, but I think most often I'm listen to song "Red Eye", really good track, also song "Visitor", great ballad with only clean vocals, unfortunately don't have MV, but this one is completely different than their other songs, I love when bands are experimenting with music and using different genres and styles, probably that's why I love Visual Kei so much. :D Btw, do you heard band The Gazette? It's definitely my favourite band, and also Visual Kei like Dexcore, also can be heavy, but not that heavy like Dexcore. If you can it would be great to see your reaction to their song "Blinding Hope", it's one of their heavier stuff. And... not many people would react to this band, but I really recommend another Visual Kei band Deadman, it's more like rock, but in atmosphere and lyrics can be really gloomy and dark. I really want to see your reaction to their song "Follow the Night Light" it's kinda funky in sound, definitely my favourite song by them, you can find music video to this one as PV (promotional video). It would be amazing to see your reactions to these two amazing bands. :)
gotta listen to a dozen roses by her
Thank you for the recommendation! "A Dozen Roses" sounds intriguing - does it have a similar vibe to "Will You Love Me When I'm Dead," or does she explore something different in it? I’m excited to hear more of her style and see how she expresses her unique sound in that track. Let me know what you love most about it! If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my RUclips Family!
Dexcore est mon groupe japonais préféré avec Jiluka. Ils sont tellement puissants et tellement dans ce qu'ils font. J'adore !
I'm not good at French But C'est génial !
