  • Symptoms of Skin Parasites | Demodex | Dr. J9 Live
In this video, Dr. Janine shares the symptoms of skin parasites or Demodex. She talks about that random tickling sensation or feeling of something crawling on the skin as a symptom of skin parasites. She explains that random pinching feelings or random itches can be a symptom of Demodex mites. She looks at how little bumps under the skin and excessive blackheads may be symptoms of skin parasites. She talks about little pebble-like substances in the eyelashes or that feeling of something in your eye as symptoms of Demodex mites. She explains how eyelashes or eyebrows falling out could be symptoms of skin parasites. Lastly, Dr. Janine talks about how wearing fake eyelashes and heavy makeup regularly could lead to Demodex mites.

Dr. Bowring, seems like this was a recent post made with the intent to have another video follow quickly with how to remedy having these mites. A link should have been placed in the description where you have all the other info, but since it's not, my thought is you haven't made the video yet. Please reply with where follow up video mentioned may be seen. You have other 'parasite' remedy videos but nothing specifically labeled to combat the Demodex Parasites so that is where we are getting confused. Thanks.

I have been to dermatologist after dermatologist and they all keep saying it’s all in my head. I have been put on a pill augmentin supposedly to kill any parasites living under my skin or above my skin. No one will believe me that I have Dee mites. I even have in all my follicles when I pull my hair out a clear sack around my follicle. I’m to the point where it’s putting a strain on my life. Please help. I know I’m not going crazy

So much stigma and taboo about this subject. I’m thankful for your honesty and the few dermis who help people with high powered microscopes and biopsies treating this. It can build up and cause serious infections sufferings.

Hi. I’m new to this channel. Thank you for this video.
My question is- where does one go to get this checked out? Dermatologist? Ophthalmologist? Other doctor???
    Thank you.
Can you do a video on scabies please?

I went to both. Thought I was crazy. Now I'm almost bald with no eyelashes. Plus that have taken over my tear ducts. Now I'm left with eyelid sagging that needs to be surgical fixed and not longer does my eye lubricant itself because they have plugged them up. First eyelashes now the lubrication

I've gone to multiply dermatologists for 10 years and that was a waste of my time and money. One dermatologist charged me $2000 to draw and inject my own blood (PRP) into my scalp to help my hair growth. The new hairs kept falling out. That did not work.

Hydrogen Peroxide in a spray bottle works well . Tea Tree Oil is great all over. Slather thick layers of Vaseline on face or ears and it smothers them out. Truly does. You can see them with a macro lens or zoom on phone. It works really well.. super strong Epsom salt rinse helps on your scalp. Apple Cider Vinegar rinse on scalp also. The rx haven't helped much on mine. Gut health is important too.

Use Olive Oil mixed with black pepper and a touch of garlic juice.
Apply to your whole body using a swab of crusty wheat bread.
    Then eat the bread.

Yh I am gluten intolerant I get bad case of dandruff and sore itchy scalp if I do, never though of the demodex link. I've always managed it with teatree oil in olive oil on scalp after washing hair and oiling scalp once daily to prevent flaking and itching. Never thought to link it to demodex though, I'm not experiencing hair loss or what you explained the white bits. If you can't do the oil on scalp try the tea tree oil in a spritz and spray on the scalp whenever you feel symptoms. Tea tree kills mites so does peppermint there's a science research paper that confirms it works look it up
