This makes two servings:
1 1/2 cups / 9 oz. frozen mango chunks (about 260 g) *
1 cup (lactose-free) Greek yogurt (240 ml, about 250g)
1/2 cup - 3/4 cup milk of choice (120 - 180 ml)
2 tablespoons chia seeds + 1/2 cup milk (120 ml)

1. Soak the chia seeds in the milk for about 20 minutes
2. Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until creamy
•

*If you are on the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, use less than 1/5 cup / 40 g mango per serving and add frozen pineapple instead😁

I love mango smoothies.
I make the samething, but I add hemp hearts, vanilla yogurt, and a good chunk of ginger. Omg it tastes so good with ginger!! I also squeeze a bit of orange juice too. You should try adding ginger to it. 🤤🤤🥰🥰👍
If I feel like I need more protein (after a workout), I will also add protein powder.
Do you use the cow milk yogurt?

I use almond milk or oat milk. I actually use lactose free Activia vanilla yogurt. I can't drink reg milk lol

Did u try it? It’s good plus your adding omega-3 in your diet which doesn’t hurt.

@@rarelxve88depends on where you live. Its a warm climate fruit so whenever you have summer, its mango season. If your market sells summer fruits in autumn or winter, it means they aren’t very fresh because they had to ship them so far from warm climate to cold.

It can be totally depends on how you make it
and one of the great things about having something like this for breakfast is that if you need more protein you can just add more protein to the smoothie or I sometimes will have one or two hard boiled eggs on the side if I feel I need extra protein.

Does anyone know the benefits of chia seeds? And what has it personally done for you have taken them. I’m looking for healthy alternatives and energy. The energy drinks they have now days are way too strong for me. And now I’m hearing a few ppl say that we have to be careful of those protein or energy powders for smoothies. Have me up for 2-3 days lol! I need just a tad bit more energy as a mom and business owner bc y’all know it can get hectic!

What can I use as a substitute for yogurt? Dairy free?
Try that but inted of mango choose avocado is so so good it is my favorite smoothie or papaya is really good too
Seeds are an amazing addition to any food/drink for more fiber. I highly recommend using whatever seeds you like the most in your foods. I personally use chia, flax, and hemp seeds.

I read that mango is high FODMAP. I have IBS and I was doing some research on high FODMAP foods and mango is a no no for IBS
She wrote the fodmap alternative ! Less mango more pineapple
