With the massive amount of stock on Aliexpress and the low prices, I'm starting to think that all the figures that were manufactured have been sold to the Chinese market.
Some of the figures that they are sending out have labels on them which indicate that they are for different markets outside of the US or asia. All I can say is right now it's being looked into and more will come of it when it can.
Greatly appreciate all the info! Earthworm Jim is one of my favorite characters so I preordered the whole set, and there was a part of me that wouldn't have been surprised if they never even released given DNAs poor reputation. Once I saw folks getting it in hand I did end up getting a Jim from Ali Express and I honestly cant fault it (aside of the snot back packs not fitting seamlessly) Regardless of the shady or very odd circumstances it seems like a really solid figure! My expectations weren't too high, but they were exceeded for sure. my 12 year old self would have never believed we would have such an articulate Jim figure
Got mine from Ali a few days ago with no problems or mis-paints or errors of any kind. Got the head pack too and also without issue! Except for the "Plasma" head. His bottom jaw fell off. It's "pegged" into place so it was very easy to fix with a dab of superglue!
Seems I may have been right about that first rejected production run, also just a note pantsed Jim is up on ali now, just ordered a copy, still keeping my preorder for Jim, and Psycrow through bbts though.
Update: may be something ongoing and perhaps more to come with new listings. If I get more I'll pass it along~

I literally have the BBTS exclusive inhand from Aliexpress and it has no QC issues at all, surely that figure shouldn't be on Aliexpress? lol

Damn those are really good. Nice seeing some under represented characters get their light. I meed a spaceghost figure in my life
