Getting older sure is a privilege. Its unfortunate that not a lot of seniors see it that way. I cannot be around the negative nellies & debbie downers.
Your channel is so important. Aging is difficult for all of us, but socially it’s especially hard for women. We need other women to show us that we can still be attractive, still be energetic, still be independent and our value does not decrease simply because our years on earth increase.
Nice thoughts! ❤ Not everyone has the desire or ability to explore but learning to be content and having gratitude for what we have also brings happiness. ❤
True but I think that is Kimberly’s desire to travel on what she wants to do in this season of her life. I don’t think she was referring that is something we all need to do. She is saying to do something that we won’t regret before it’s too late.
This is so true but hardly ever spoken. Many seniors don’t have the finances to travel so gratefulness for what we have is so important! Social media has many of us thinking we are lacking in some areas of our life when we are so beyond blessed.
Great job! I celebrated 63 years young last week and our 42nd wedding anniversary yesterday. We have been traveling the US in a motorhome for the last 4 years. We completed the lower 48 recently. Your advice is spot on. Too many people do not realize that today is a perfect day to start living your dreams. Start small if you have to, but go for it. It doesn’t just happen!
I’m 74, married 54 years and I can’t say I have any regrets. I started having serious back problems when I turned 70 and my daily activity ability changed in the blink of an eye. I do what I can and miss being more active in my day to day life, but no regrets. Wish it’d been different, but we deal with what were dealt with no regrets. Love your attitude and definitely do what you enjoy while you can. 😊
I turned 65 this past June and it hit me hard. But it turned out to be a conduit for changing my life in ways that needed to be changed. I changed my diet and I am seeing results! I've instituted gratitude in every day and it helps me stay positive! Life really is what you make it and you are never too old to make a positive change. I have been in Southwest Florida for five years now and yes...we do have seasons here! They may be more subtle but they are there. I too can feel Fall coming in.
Thank you, Kimberly, for this reminder! You’re absolutely right and you’ve given me something to think about. I’m 57 and sometimes feel like life is passing me by and it’s time to really think about doing things I am able to do right now and having no regrets later in life! Blessings to you. ❤
Wise words! I love your spirit of adventure. I’m 54 and I have recognized that I need to get out there and visit beautiful landmarks in our country. I’m saying, “yes” while I have the opportunity. Side note, I haven’t worn a bikini since my 40’s! So go you! 😊 My very smart and wise father was diagnosed with cancer back in 2018, he worked hard his whole life and he and my mom both saved and saved their money so that went they retired they could enjoy their golden years. My mother passed away 15 days before my dad and they never got that chance to enjoy their glorious golden years and my father as he layed there dying said to me,”don’t wait, whatever you want to do go do it now!” So I’m passing those wise words on to everyone I know! ❤
I'm 54 as well and was jumping on here to express appreciation for Kimberly's attitude and feel much the same from my life experiences. I hope Kimberly will vlog her travel adventures some and let's go DO! 😊
As a nurse in a hospital I heard that countless times, and I took it to heart. Retired at 63, now 68 just treasuring every day, the love of friends and family, and traveling when I can. And saying no when I want to!! Wise words from your dad indeed!
I also just turned 65 and it’s put me back a bit. I’m a cancer survivor so of course, I have so much gratitude for just being here, but it’s also an odd feeling being this age. I’m so happy to have this community to share thoughts and encouragement! ❤
Very thoughtful & wise words. You’re extremely fortunate to have good health & the ability to explore & do all you can at your age! I’m sure you already know that. I’m 78 & like you, took advantage of my 50’s when my body looked a lot better & I was able to do so much! Now, have a lot of challenges, but I still have a drive to do all I can. I don’t want to look back with regrets! ❤❤❤
I just turned 64 and I can relate to everything you talked about. It's not always easy to see ourselves physically age, but we are in a new season now and there are different things to focus on. I have been making a list of places I've always wanted to travel to and am checking them off as I visit each one. Yes, we don't know how long we will be healthy enough to do all of things we want to in this life, so must do them Now! Thank you for this reminder and uplifting video.❤❤
Plus it’s also a relief to stop worrying about the belly. It is what it is. At the end of my 50s, I’m finding as vanity gives way to focusing on nutrition and exercise, letting go of the vanity is providing a sense of relief. Enjoy! ❤
Thank you Kimberly. This, for me, may be your most thought provoking post. Thank you again for just the perfect and gentle reminder that I didn’t realize I needed.❤
Wow! You look just so beautiful and relaxed. Love the striped shirt on you. Hello from Melbourne Australia x Personally I have learnt to say no more - I love not being "busy". Please do more of these philosophical vloggs - brilliant to watch and so much richer than the makeup/skincare ones.
This video really hits home. I just turned 59 and while age has never been an issue or even phased me. However, this birthday has really shaken me up for the very reason you're talking about. I'm so restless and want to do so much more. I'm in great health (not as fit as I want to be, other than that healthy) I have the strong desire to do so many things that I never did because I was always working. A year ago I quit my job to take care of a family member. Now, I dont have the money to travel and do the things I want to. I feel like time is slipping away. I'm making a concerted effort to plan and get out to do things I want to do. Im trying to find a remote job so I can work from home therefore having the funds to be able to do more. I know it will all work out !
Thank you for this video and your insight. You are gorgeous and so inspiring to see a brighter side of aging. I am not over 50, but I sense that what you are talking about. Exploring and doing as much as you can in the time that you live is so important. That is my inner struggle as I feel so consumed by my full-time job and the restrictions that come with that. To have a job is a great thing, but I feel it takes away so much-needed adventure and pleasure to really live fully and fulfilled.
I'm with you girl! I had a very colorful life as well! Just turned 70 and completely satisfied with my life ,but oh the many wonderful memories/adventures I have!! Big Blessings from another Kim❤
I am currently also in Florida (SW). Last year I was thinking of moving out of state (to one of the Carolinas) and, like you started a list of things to see in Florida before leaving. Yes, keep Sarasota on your list. The Ringling Museum is a must. What about adding the Keys? And if you have any desire to visit the Caribbean while still on this coast consider cruises. Port Canaveral, Miami, or Ft Lauderdale are all ports that are drivable to and you're right on the ship. No airport drama to deal with!... Go explore! I'll be out there too and if our paths cross be sure to wave.👋
More power to you Kimberly! I’m not much of a traveler but I do agree with having different experiences which is something that I want to do more of. Love your channel ❤🥰
Yes Kimberly, fall has arrived. I live in AZ and it's been HOT here. It's so nice to have the cooler mornings. I'm 77 and I think the heat bothers me more than it used it. I do live in a big home with solar and it's not that it's hot inside, BUT. Love your channel a lot!
So empowering, you made me think about a lot of things and how beautiful life is and how much there is to see and do.BUT WITHOUT GOOD HEALTH it is impossible,so I appreciate how you work out ,eat and do your best to stay well.We have to move everyday and thank god for letting us rise another morning.
YES! YES! YES! I couldn't agree more. After being on my own for many years after my divorce and raising my teens I met the love of my life on line at age 60. Over 6 years we have traveled to Mexico, Italy and recently bought a travel trailer and took two 3 week trips in it, one all over Colorado and the other to several national parks in Utah and Colorado as well as many short trips. We also moved to a wonderful home in Arizona. I'm 66 now. I really would not have done all that alone. However, had I not met him I would have figured something out and gone on group tours of some kind. Your words of inspiration was a good wake up call to do some exploring around my new city. I'm also going to ask my girls to go on a cruise together, just the three of us. I want them to remember me as vibrant and living life to its fullest. Thanks for the reminder Kimberly.
I am 72, my husband is 84. Last year I drove our small class.B RV to Savannah. Along the way we stayed at wonderful rv parks, my husband still hooks everything up. This year I drove to Florida and then up to Georgia. My point is that as long as I can drive, I will! We like to rv often. However, once we would get home, we were couch potatoes! After consulting our drs -my husband and I have heart issues and I’m diabetic- we started walking and basic hiking 3 days a week. We also joined the senior centers in our area( there are 3 of them). I deeply advise everyone over 55 to join their senior centers. There are numerous activities to do. Plus they offer trips! I do Zumba and Line dancing at least 3 days a week ( and I love it). I need to move it-- I don’t want to lose it! We have also made friends at the senior centers!
No regrets... You did your thing and you still are... You have done more in your life than I have ever thought about it. You go girl Its okay if you do something more or you do not and take a break. You deserve a break.. No worries..
Love this message ❤ I'm so inspired! I moved to Alaska in 2020 and it has been so awe-inspiring, but there is so much more to see and discover. I am going to plan some new adventures 😀
Wow thank you Kim. This vlog came to me at such a good time as my thoughts are like yours these days. I just turned 67, married for 42, and recently retired. I am happy and feel I am missing out a lot of activities, some simple ones and some demanding more planning. I will listen to you again to help me focus my life with a goal to do what I want and see the beauty life and nature have to offer. You are very inspirational. Love you.😊❤
I took advantage of my opportunity to become a snowboarder and rode 5 days a week for over 20 years and became advanced. I still ride at 64 and it's my passion in life and cant do it like I used to because of arthritis knees, but still do easier runs and pray i can until im 80 even with knee replacements. I've never been to Florida and know that I never will, so I would love for you to take us with you and show us the places you go!
love the video Kimberly. made me think deep of what you said. i will definitely start doing more things. i just turned 68 on September 13. life is going too fast now ❤
I agree on doing while you can. When I was around 60, I was at a party talking to a woman in her 80s. She had always loved to travel and although she was mentally sharp, she was no longer able to physically. Her advice to me then was “do it while you are able to”. I followed her advice and a year later splurged on a European tour alone. It was a dream for most of my life and did not disappoint. I have continued to take more trips into my 70s although not as elaborate. I have been to nearly every state now and although my interest in travel has decreased, will continue to enjoy day and weekend trips to nearby locations as long as I can. No regrets.
Such a great video. I listen and try to live by these words I too tell myself but right now I care for my elderly parents who did not plan for their old age and I also take care of a special needs son. I pray often that one day it will be my turn to enjoy and travel and see things I have on my bucket list. I want to be able to do these things while I still can. Thank you for your words and fantastic video.
I love your philosophy Kimberley. I'm about to head out and explore the island (in the UK ) where I'm living now. I've been here a year and for various reasons I haven't done much exploring. There's no time to lose! Thank you for the gentle nudge xxx
Kimberly, such a very positive approach to age! We should all follow the formula of past accomplishment inspiration and identify what the future holds. Healthy living gives us opportunities and how we accept change will keep our minds happy!
Awesome subject Kimberly. I love the content you put out on your channels. I am 58 years old and have been with my husband (age 69) for 14 years. We both have always been physical fit but he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s five years ago and our retirement plans changed as well as our fitness routine. We are fortunate enough to have both retired six years ago as we wanted to enjoy everyday to the fullest. My husband is incredibly handsome but his abilities have drastically changed. I embrace and love the man he is today and honored to be his wife and we still have fun. Your video really hit home as I have not noticed or even minded all duties I have taken over and lost side of myself. Wow I’ve never struggled with my weight have noticed a shift and how I look and it really is not a priority. We are just having fun right now, but I realized we need to get out more take drive and investigate more of our surroundings like we used to. We are in Southern California Desert we thought of moving to Florida several years ago and will be taking a trip out there in a few months God willing. I guess I want to just say thank you for your content. It is always very inspiring, such as every morning I jump on the leaves and bounced trampoline. Your recommendations are many other subjects have been tremendous thank you so much.
Do what you are able to do where you are each day. I'm 71 and started following Petter Attia and he is so encouraging to prepare your body to do more as we age. I have found with watching him I can still do more.
Great reflection Kimberly and thank you for sharing your thoughts ☺️ it is good to know what tickles us and makes us feel alive and vibrant and that may be just sitting in the garden and appreciate the beautiful flowers 😀 have a great time travelling and I hope you share that experience with us ☺️
This is such a great message and hits home with me, I also had this same epiphany, same belly haha, I retired last year and was sick a good part of that year but now I'm better and just itching to go so many places I have a list of! Many I will go by myself and I am fine with that, the bummer for me is I have friends that still haven't had any epiphany and are sooo worried about everything, they are a little heavier than in their 20's, they have lines in forehead that make them look angry in pictures, the list goes on and on, and honestly it gets tiring, just be glad you got one last picture of you and your mom right before she passed, be glad you still are with that same husband you had in your skinny 20's, etc. I feel free now!
I have so many fabulous memories from my youth & middle age! I enjoy those memories; today I’m good with myself. Grateful for many, many things. That’s what I focus on - 😊
Thank you so much for this beautiful and inspiring segment. I understand the importance of everything you are presenting here and only hope I can find the courage, and the ways, to do some of the things I don't want to have regrets about like you are doing 🧚♀💜 You are an inspiration to me and so many others
I love this, Kimberly! It aligns with my own philosophy at age 59. I work hard to keep my body as healthy and fit as I can, to milk every ounce out of life that I can❤
Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts on getting older. Can you share where you got your fabulous eyeglasses? I didn't see a link in the description or your pages. Thanks!
Great insights. I remember when I younger 30, and a woman, maybe 80, she told me what she missed was skipping. She told me to skip everyday. I'm 70 now, and a month ago I went to skip and I tripped, and it scared me a little. I rode my bike last week and I felt a little unsure. It's been an eye-opener. Not sad, just different. Just do it what ever it is.❤
Great advice! I was born in Florida and lived here most of my life. There are places I still haven’t visited. Definitely need to get out and explore more while I can. If you are in Sarasota, I’d love to take you to lunch and meet you. Please document your travels. I love hearing from you each week. You are an inspiration.
No regrets! 💪 Life has a funny way of speeding by. I recently realized I actually have a limited number of decades left here (if I am "lucky"). I need to get busy!! 😋 Thank you for the reminder, Kimberly! 💕
This is very inspirational and something I’m thinking off starting as well! I’m 71 and in very good health but staying home way too much. You really looking amazing and have a very cool attitude towards life. Love it ❤
The aging signs of wrinkles, grey hairs, flabbinesss, etc. are really something that you have earned for all these years. A feeling of contentment and gratitude for having lived this long will definitely bring peace and happiness. I meditate on impermanence because we're all here temporarily 😍
You’ll actually stand before God when you “cross over”, not a source. He is the final Judge of how we have lived our lives, so we should all live each day like it’s our last (meaning what we do, how we speak to others and the adventures we take). Blessings!
Good for you Kim. Your video made me think. I'm 69, my husband does not want too due anything. My kids don't see me like they should. My son only lives a few miles away. I'm sure a lot of parents out there have the same problem. It's great that you want to travel so much to see in Florida. If you get a chance go to the keys really beautiful. Even if you have to fly down. Enjoy your travels. Love your videos!
Thank you for your spirit and courage. I'm in my mid fifties and am finally finishing my college degree. I also want to see all the things here in NC and will get that list going!
Make the time to see Key West and visit Ernest Hemingway's home and where he wrote, that they've made into a museum. That is definitely on my bucket list! I've seen St. Augustine , beautiful. The town that Flaggler built, etc. That is definitely on my bucket list. Look forward to watching you explore Florida!
Great message! Thank you. I live in the beautiful state of New Mexico, which has soooo much to offer and things to see. I am almost 60 and now want to explore more. Eventually I will end up in the DC area near my son, but for now New Mexico here I come! Now if I can just convince my husband to go with I'll be doing great.
Good morning Kimberly, thank you so much for this amazing video. Exactly what I needed to hear this morning. I’m dressed and heading to a small town in Georgia I’ve been wanting to visit. It’s going to be a great Sunday ❤️
I am 72 and just trying to get used to and over what seems like sudden aging since last 2 years. I am having to rethink so many things like hair, make up, clothing etc. I want to age gracefully and not look desperate to cling on to youth without becoming a fuddy duddy. I have long hair that is now silver and I now wear it up not down and I have reduced the effects of eye make up and opting for more natural shades for eyes and lips. You look fab!
I’m just grateful I’m alive and healthy. Getting old it’s a privilege. 👍🏻🥰🌺

❤❤❤I’m 55 but don’t feel it. I wake up every morning and say ‘I’m happy, I’m healthy and it’s great to be 20 yrs old.❤❤❤
I love that!

St Augustine is the best! Don't miss it! You can drive on the beach, so much fun!

Here in Pittsburgh, PA, the air is cool, crisp, and sunny! And the leaves are starting to show some color. It's my favorite time of the year!
Good stuff! Thank you!
This is the message I really needed to hear! Thank you Kimberly! ❤
Such good thoughts! Yes! You inspired me!🎉🎉🎉
Wow thank you Kim. Love you.😊❤
Love love love your glasses!!!! Where can I get them????
I took advantage of my opportunity to become a snowboarder and rode 5 days a week for over 20 years and became advanced. I still ride at 64 and it's my passion in life and cant do it like I used to because of arthritis knees, but still do easier runs and pray i can until im 80 even with knee replacements. I've never been to Florida and know that I never will, so I would love for you to take us with you and show us the places you go!
BRAVO! Thank you for your inspirational words....much appreciated!
Thank you for these reminders to live now and enjoy what we have.🙏
You know Kimberly, of all the amazing, helpful tips you’ve given us over the years; this is the best advice ever. You are truly inspirational. ❤
love the video Kimberly. made me think deep of what you said. i will definitely start doing more things. i just turned 68 on September 13. life is going too fast now ❤
I just retired and I’m coming to the Villages in March! Hoping to have fun adventures all month! Maybe I’ll run into you!
I love how you view life and aging! What a inspiration you are! Thank You!
Great for you - I heard Torreya State Park is beautiful - north of Jacksonville. Thanks for the reminder!
Great video! You’ve inspired me. Please take us with you on your travels!
Do what you are able to do where you are each day. I'm 71 and started following Petter Attia and he is so encouraging to prepare your body to do more as we age. I have found with watching him I can still do more.
Great reflection Kimberly and thank you for sharing your thoughts ☺️ it is good to know what tickles us and makes us feel alive and vibrant and that may be just sitting in the garden and appreciate the beautiful flowers 😀 have a great time travelling and I hope you share that experience with us ☺️
I love your thought process! Thanks for the video of the scenery……Can’t wait to get back home to The Villages in October!
Your best video message for me, I'm 78 and in a rut. I'm going to try to be more creative, thanks.
Good for you, Kimberly! I am inspired! ❤
Great video Kimberly thank you! Very inspirational.
I love this . Thank you . I will be writing my list today ❤️
I love this, Kimberly! It aligns with my own philosophy at age 59. I work hard to keep my body as healthy and fit as I can, to milk every ounce out of life that I can❤
St Augustine is a must see for sure!
Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts on getting older. Can you share where you got your fabulous eyeglasses? I didn't see a link in the description or your pages. Thanks!
You are an inspiration. Just the message I needed at this season of my life.Thank you for sharing :)
Just do it what ever it is.❤
I really needed to hear this. Thank you for sharing
Very impactful, thank you!
I think you do and be the best you can everyday!. I had surgery recently and now that i'm healed I feel pretty darn good and ready to get things done!
Love it ❤
This is the best video you’ve ever done; I love this.
I hope you vlog your exploration travels 😎❤
The aging signs of wrinkles, grey hairs, flabbinesss, etc. are really something that you have earned for all these years. A feeling of contentment and gratitude for having lived this long will definitely bring peace and happiness. I meditate on impermanence because we're all here temporarily 😍
This was wonderful Kimberly♥️
You’ll actually stand before God when you “cross over”, not a source. He is the final Judge of how we have lived our lives, so we should all live each day like it’s our last (meaning what we do, how we speak to others and the adventures we take). Blessings!
Amen!🙌
Have fun! 😃
I'm 49 and live in SE Texas, and it IS feeling like Fall in a small way, but I'll take anything I can get! Love you videos, Kimberly!
Love love love this ! Thank you
Make the time to see Key West and visit Ernest Hemingway's home and where he wrote, that they've made into a museum. That is definitely on my bucket list! I've seen St. Augustine , beautiful. The town that Flaggler built, etc. That is definitely on my bucket list. Look forward to watching you explore Florida!
I love it. Enjoy I love your energy it's inspiring
Thanks Tiffany
Thank you for the inspiration! Love this message❤
Come visit Naples. It is truly beautiful.
