My resident squirrels tip the birdfeeder and spill the seed onto the ground. Cayenne pepper and chili powder mixed into seed does not deter squirrels. Our squirrel dumped the feeder last night and is now sitting under the feeder and eating.
I rub crushed habernera peppers mixed with grease on the galvanize tin that I use. They attempt to run up galvernize pole, but jumped off when the pepper gets them
I did hours of research on this matter, Haveing had a squirrel problems on my feeders, I found feeder that is 100% squirrel proof "The squirrel buster pro" Its not cheap but it works, Never seen any squirrels out wit it ever I've owned this feeder 2 years brilliant
2 big cats worked wonders!!! They don’t catch them but they keep the squirrels away
