@@paulsandum4443 just wanted some insight on how the install went and whether you’d recommend diesel dudes. Curious to know if you did a grid heater delete or not.
the best I ever got in my 22 2500 cummins (it had the stock steel wheels - it was a tradesmen) was 26mpg unloaded on a 400 mile roound trip and that is just setting the cruise to 65 and letting it do its thing - it also had some parts fall off of it.
@@joerapo oh yes its a massive difference - diesels deal better with it than gas engines though - the Jeep guys take a huge hit in fuel economy when they go with big tires.
I watch a lot of video on RUclips, the mic sounds great and the wide angle video actually made the video more interesting to watch because I get a better perspective, closer to what it’s like to actually be there with you. There are pros and cons to it but the pros outweigh the cons imo.
37x10.5xR20s Recons, 4" with 4 Link - All BDS. Monster Ram, Banks Big boost tubes, and 5" exhaust. I get 21"ish, if i lock 65mph.. If I oklahoma tollway at 80mph, I get in the 16.2mpg ball park.
@@wizard_of_poz4413 no joke I have a 23 5500 limited 60” CA (not fixed 😞) and I get about 12-13 doing 65-67 mph. I get 11 with a truck camper pulling a 8x21’ trailer doing the same speed which is the same as my 4th gen g56. Not too bad considering how much more it weighs and those massive axles underneath. (~24,000 lbs)
Camera seems fine. I feel like your voice sounds fine, but it doesn't pick up outside noise as well. But, it's definitely not bad. Hoping to see a dyno run on 2020-2021 Ford 6.7.
I personally dont like the Gopro wide lense looks low quality, but you make it work good with your videos. Best camera for what you do would be a Sony ZV-1, Sony ECM-G1 mic and Sony ACCVC1 Handle tripod.
Didn't you use to work on a dairy farm in Hague Saskatchewan a few years ago? Like damn near a decade ago? I've worked with you before there I swear, amazing how far along you've come my guy!
great video! everything looks and sounds great! would love to see this tune and delete on a 23 and up 3500 HO aisin cuz im hearing there's aisin tuning now. maybe im worng and still SOL haha
I wonder if you could hear the exhaust better if you put a GoPro on the truck with a suction cup while you drive it rather than a drive by. Love your videos, Camera and audio were great!
I’m so glad I came across your channel! Seen your install video on the other truck and now working on getting that kit for my 3500 Dually! Already blown out the EGR gaskets and the exhaust manifold gaskets are leaking. It started around 80,000 miles now it’s 105,000 and been looking for a kit for a while.

I’ve got a 2018 3500 with Aisin trans, AEV 3” lift and 37s on the stock 20” wheels. Average 17 mpg all around but see 21-22 on the highway @70 mph. How much better will my numbers get if I delete it?
Great video man, I just subscribed. How about a video on the Banks monster ram intake and grid heater upgrade for the 6.7. I would love to hear your thoughts and see what the dyno says.
@darkirondiesel I'm course to know if you would do a video on the 5th gen. cummins maintenance, meaning help settle some controversy on service intervals. Manufacture rec. oil change every 15,000 miles under normal conditions and what your recommendation would be after a delete and tune. a lot of conversation has happened stating that you should do oil changes every 5000 to 7000 but it seems very excessive and problematic for the engine. Would love to get the perspective of someone that is in these engines a lot. Thanks.
With this kit, can a person use a 5 position switch instead of the monitor? I like the kit and tune but would rather have a switch and use my cts3 monitor. Also, audio and video was perfect! Keep up the great vids!

Did it myself, with good help from the videos by Dark Iron diesel and the info sent from the diesel dudes. Took me 3 days, I took my time😅
