@TheSmithdud...he would be the Russian Brown Bear. While we of the West would pronounce it Ur-sis the Russians would pronounce it Are-sis. (Pronunciation courtesy of the Soviet movie GUARDIANS) The Russian Brown Bear is the progenitor of the Kodiak and Grizzly bears having followed the Caribou, Moose and Bison (commonly and erroneously referred to as the Buffalo) as they migrated to North America. DNA tests would conclusively prove it if anyone were to take DNA samples and compare them. Even to compare the DNA of Soviet Eskimo people and those living in Alaska and surrounding areas.
