They are not called Black Death for no reason!!
Very well filmed, not every cameraman will be able to do that.
Thank you for your kind words. With over two decades in the industry we have found the very best camermen out there. Not only skilled in cinematography but all are exceptional hunters themselves. Stay tuned as we will be releasing new content soon. Thank you for your support.
Cameraman extreme professional. Few can keep filming under those conditions. Not only professional.but courageous
There’s a reason it’s called dangerous game hunting. Great video and thanks for sharing!
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
Wow, great video, brave cameraman
Thank you! Appreciate the support! 🎥👊
The camera guy has some big kahunas on that buff charge, kudos
Indeed! It takes nerves of steel to capture those intense moments up close. Major props to the camera guy for staying calm under pressure and delivering such gripping footage. Kudos, indeed! 🎥👏
To become one with your bolt rifle, you need to practice working the bolt from the shoulder until you can master it.
Your absolutely spot on blackforest.
I had the pleasure of meeting Owain Lewis a few times, we had a mutual friend who took us flying sight seeing round where they lived in Zimbabwe, with an American hunting client.
The four of us sight seeing then back for some beers, and talk of hunting rifles.
Owain was a wonderful man and a true safari legend. He is missed
A nice family. Ny cousins live near his widow.@@safariclassics
I disagree with “ African rifle carry” I use a sling, I know the sayings around slings. But, I hunt with a sling always, can swing my 375 quickly with it. It does not slow me down at all. It will go with me to Africa.
Brave men in this video , all men there stood their ground and placed good shots. The PH like the Hunter were sure the bull would go down. Credit to Black Death, he was fierce till the end
The (. Flight) IS Exceptionnel !!!!! Happy Behind m'y screen.....Heart Beat over💯, All m'y congratulations, to sharing the vidéo Movie !!!! I wish the Best, comeback After Injuries Man 🙏🐺🇫🇷
Thank you for your kind words, the individual made a full recovery and is out hunting again, stay tuned as we will be releasing new content soon.
Great video, love hunting Africa
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Africa offers some of the most exhilarating hunting experiences in the world. The landscapes, wildlife, and challenges make it truly unforgettable. Thanks for watching! 🌍🦁
Wow 😮...scope at 30mtres in the bush ..
Unbelievable 😊...
1:26 that was a very dangerous shot taken by the guy behind.
The first thing i was taught by my DAD when he handed me a gun.
1.Never shoot a gun while you are standing behind others.
2.Never point a gun towards people even with an empty barrel.
3.Never shoot a gun with the barrel pointing parallel towards land level as it may travel without impact and may be dangerous ( shoot only when you are sure the bullets may hit land surface or only when you see clear sky, meaning- the bullet will elevate up even if you miss)
hunter stood his ground like a fkn boss. well played sir
That'll jump start your heart!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🎥🙌
The one 'hunter' is carrying his rifle by holding it horizontal over his shoulder so wherever he turns, he is pointing it straight at someone 🤪 😜.
The Avearge PH hasnt a clue on Rifle handling and would fail hoplessly in Any FGASA exam out there
Can't say I agree with that blanket statement.
Yeah - a friend of my guide lost his arm because of someone carrying a gun like that. We were about 5 minutes out of camp when I took my rifle from the gun bearer. He was covering everyone with the muzzle. But, hey, Craig Boddington carries his rifle like that, so it must be cool!
Christo Kaizer was killed by an elephant in 2007 in Botswana. I knew him personally.
Awesome
Sorry for the loss of your friend and his family as well.
Wow! That was a bit close. Too close for Dominic. Phew! I'm trying to count the shots and the firing order. Is this list right?
1st shot. 4:58 . Client Julius. 416. Front-on. 20 metres. Chest.
2nd shot. 5:01 . Client Julius. 416. Side-on. ~16 metres. Hit heart.
3rd shot. 6:28 . Client Dominic? 300 Norma Magnum. ~12 metres. Over videographer's right shoulder. Impact unclear.
4th shot. 6:30 . Client Julius. 416. Front-on. ~8 metres, chest(?)
5th shot. 6:48 . PH Werner. 470. Front-on. ~2 metres. Hit boss over right eye.
6th shot. 6:49 . Client Julius. 416. 0.5 metre. Face. Deafened the videographer! Entry hole shown at 7:29 .
7th shot. 7:15 . PH Werner. 470. Rear quartering shot to chest(?)
Mess with the Bull and you will get the horn.
Well said, and the bull gave it is all as his his tribe is noted for. Dave
Excellent video mate 👍👍👍
What rifle, caliber, ammo and scope???
Awesome video and great seeing my old buddy Dave in the intro.
I wonder how many guides actually make the ending shot. Bet its higher than the hunter hahaha
Yeah, well done!
Thank you.
Dam that was a very close call 😮
Thanks for tuning in sir! Dave
As close as I've seen! Dang!!! WEll done
Great job by the camera man. Poor saftey procedure by the hunter.... Why would the hunter carry his rifle like that? Gee...
I'm confused. Was the guy narrating and taking the initial shots a client or a PH? Who was Dominic?
Ok, so I admit it's not for me. But I've read Keith, I've read O'Connor, I've read Capstick and others enough to question why would anybody use optics on a dangerous game rifle? The distance involved is "reach out and touch". Wouldn't finding the right spot be complicated by optics in that case? Can anybody tell me? Oh, kudos to the camera man, too!
I noticed that
ROOOOOOKIE Z ZZZZ ZZZZ
Lol, I didn't see any "impenetrable walls of bush" or a single Mopani treë. Poor.
I've been over extensive areas of South Africa and I only occasionally have run into impenetrable walls of bush. This wasn't one of those areas.
that was way too close to the hunter to be shooting past him
The way you’re carrying that gun I’d be more worried about you
Man! the almighty saved you..what about your friend is he doing good?
.300 Norma Magnum or .308 Norma Magnum?
Das ist nur ein Glück,Der bewaffenente Personen treffen nicht Ihren selben kollegen!!
I dont think I would truss a PH who carries a scoped rifle with more than two rounds. When you only have two, you are more focused because 2 is all you got. They have to count!
Umm, ... the PH was carrying a double rifle in 470 NE. I think you're getting the client's friend Dominic mixed up with the PH Werner. Have another watch and see what you think. It's a ripper video - no doubt about that.
Seems none of the tourists can shoot without shooting sticks😂. Sadly
A los bestias les dejas les dejas les dejas y te dejan sin especies. Se impone cortarles las alas.
Disgraceful barrel etiquette! Constantly flagging your team like that, you need to go back and do your firearm safety course again
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the video. Safety is absolutely paramount on all safaris, and we take it very seriously. We appreciate your concern about barrel etiquette and flagging. You're absolutely right; maintaining proper firearm safety is crucial. Rest assured, we're always striving to ensure the safety of our team and everyone involved. Your feedback is valued, and we'll make sure to reinforce our safety protocols. Thanks for watching and for your commitment to safety!
@@safariclassics now thats what i call a f*cn reply. Holysh*t
I'd like to see how calm you'd be that charging you bud.
Amazing how tough these animals are. They get respect for good reason.
Camera angles can also make it look like there is flagging when in fact the barrel is angled away. I'm not addressing this video per se, but as a general rule, I don't judge in a video like this. Unless one is there, it is often hard to tell from a video, where things are in 3-D.
wish this animals can know how to protect themselves from now on
Would you rather the hunter died than the buffalo? Or are you simply against the hunt all together?
Glad you are all ok
Don't show the same clip over and over again
why hunting these animals in the first place?
Hunting for conservation involves responsibly managing wildlife populations to maintain ecosystem balance. It generates crucial funds for conservation efforts, incentivizes local communities to protect habitats, and respects cultural traditions. By selectively harvesting animals and regulating hunting practices, it helps ensure the long-term survival of species while providing economic benefits and fostering connections between people and nature.
Because.......
Stupide man super qu il vous a chargé..
Dommage il vous a loupé..
There is no reason to murder a wild animal for sport !
I’m hoping they at least eat the meat and not waste it
@@keithfaulk1354 It is always given to the locals. Suitable meats might be dried and sold as biltong.
I have heard Buffalo is very good eating
For nature conservation and to feed the poor and enable the less priviledge to also get enough protein. The meet don't go to waste. As long as it is done ethically in accordance with the law Sir.
Flagging everyone in the group, I see the Gucci camouflage has made it from the backcountry Sheep hunters to the Safari hunters domain.
You talk too much. No need to narrate
Opinions vary.
A gerber. Non ça ne mérite pas ça !
Pourquoi non?
Parce que ça n’a absolument aucun sens , ce n’est que vanité, condescendance , hubris et cruauté.
Habla demasiado a los 3 min me aburri
Alot of these dudes couldn't get into the military becouse they were afraid so they took up hunting becouse they could shoot stuff but the stuff couldn't shoot back
Use 577
For what reason are these hunters killing a Cape Buffalo??
Is it like when hunters would go out make a kill return to the tribe in high spirits and everyone would gather around the fire eating succulent sizzling juicy strips of meat to their heart's content, whilst earnestly listening to the hunters brave encounter and of the skills and heroics they performed to bring down the beast? NO!! That;s NOT the Reason! Do it for fun.....TERRIBLE REASON!
