I am a hunter myself but not a trophy hunter. Although this type of hunting is not my forte, I do see the benefits of such. I see the moment we put a monetary value on any game animal it's future is assured. The benefit to the local economy and villages is plain to see, so it's a win win for all.

And if everyone would open their eyes and minds and and see this that the meat goes back to the people, monies paid for the hunt goes for anti poaching, schools, medical facilities and much more. We as Americans need to be worried about the problems we have within our on borders and fix that first and leave animal conservation in Africa. Remember you're the ones actually killing the animals with your bans on importation of certain African species. Great video BTW!

@@Mr09260 better than not eating at all. So if no animals are removed what do you think happens then?

YES The placements of the shots in the start on the buffalo were very poorly placed with them hitting it in the hind quqrters even with a double express rifle it was insufficent to out it down Sadly no matter what shooting such a majestic and noble creature such as a elephant wheter calling it conversation to justify hunting it is totally inhumane. These bull elephants are only considered as a trophy to display in some persons man cave and brag about to his friends as a big game hunter, who has more money than empthay for wildlife,That is why so many hunters in the 1900 eventually turned to conservation of big cats in INDIA and africa seeing the pointless killing of these noble carniviours/

Great video. However, I have to say whilst the elephant shots were very good, his shots on the buffalo were rubbish. He was clearly shaking! I'm sure the $s came to the hundreds of thousands are beneficial, but you have to question his shooting prowess.
