*it's not the U5 engine but northlight engine. Game runs at 1505x847 30fps with FSR2 upscaling to 1440p. www.alanwake.com/story/alan-wake-2-update-notes/
Ue5 is used in conjunction with north light engine ue5 enhances the north light engine but north light is mostly used we all seen quantum break I can absolutely tell that pieces of quantum break are in this game
Wow they definitely built the rooms that were blocked off in control yrs back that's great so we'll see parts of control that we couldn't ever see in control
En la versión de la serie s tiene un problema de que el juego se cierra y lo tira al menu del Xbox cuando uno lo juega y eso sucede en el modo de historia
You kept repeating unreal engine 5 the whole video. Control looks sharper, has better graphics on series s and it runs at 60 fps. Why develop an engine that only shines on 2000 euro gpus and make current gen seem outdated? this trend in my opinion spoils the fun of gaming. This is not what gaming is... Instead of focusing in making games fun and captivanting with revolutionary mechanics, they are making engines that are draining resources with poor visuals and look blurry .
@@max30211 You cant compare a live service game to a simgle player experience based on fidelity, you wont see a full 4k res clipboard in space marines 2, but only in Alan wake 2
Both DLC expansions were a disappointment. Firstly, they're way too short; it took me around 1.5 hours to do Night Springs and this one took me around 2 hours. There's also no Alan Wake in either of them, instead they bring in other pointless characters. It's a shame because the main game was awesome.
True. Water in particular looks so much better with ray tracing. Without it it looks kind of horrible, like it's got oil slick all over it. Also, reflections in windows and mirrors really add a lot.

Alan Wake 2 does not run in UE5. It uses Remedy's own Northlight Engine.
True
Indeed, you can ezily tell because it doesn't stutter.
I am a dumb-dumb you are 100% right, how did I came up with U5 🤔

@@NeoMoonSevin no, this is simply the northlight engine. UE5 would run way worse

how are the crashes? it had many crashes at launch. supposedly they were fixed by now. supposedly.
its dark and hard 🥺
How many gbs did the update take for this resolution improvement on series S Maurice? Haven't update the game yet lol
Didn't the base game also get updated? I wonder if the game runs better when you're in the woods.
Yes
En la versión de la serie s tiene un problema de que el juego se cierra y lo tira al menu del Xbox cuando uno lo juega y eso sucede en el modo de historia
Has the base game been given a resolution boost as well Maurice?
Offcourse

you got it. fully, fully agreed.
When 60fps
Never, this game is a beast to run, and the little series s will not handle it at 60fps
@@chrispoici666 space marine the same? No 60 FPS

🤦🏾♂️ He yaps on & on about a graphics engine that this game doesn't run on at all. It doesn't use Unreal Engine 5 !!!!
You are right 😊 I made a small mistake, that's why I put the correct info in the fixed comment above 🤗 you are welcome 😊

Control's two DLCs were MUCH better indeed.
@@MultiNatla Definitely. Better gameplay too.
This game doesn't look good without ray tracing enabled no matter if you run on ultra or at 4k.

Sad for Xbox Series S
😢
No it's not. It's a little cheap beast
