I'm amazed at how much of my fishing has become Zman... yep, here's another method that will probably go Zman. Brian is a great dude too.
Thank you Brian & Z-Man. Got my first SMH jigs & worms earlier this month, and tied them on for the first time yesterday morning. Fished a little paddletail from the bank at sunrise for 15 minutes without results. Picked up my other rod, and on the very first cast I had ever made with a shaky head I hooked and landed my 4th best largemouth to date. I've fished this same spot successfully before, but by noon yesterday I'd caught the three largest bass I've ever seen there - all on SMH worms. . . and I only used a second worm because I wanted to try the other color I'd packed. B-Lat's videos on rigging and retrieving a shaky head taught this old dog a new trick or two.
Been using for about 3 months now and like all ZMAN products the plastics parts of the SMH is perfect size action and as always very durable....the hooks a quality very sharp and fish stay hooked....always tied on and with me....creeks, ponds, lakes or river these work and catch good size fish as well

Dude, I'm SO glad he didn't! Their baits work and the bandito bug has awesome action but I can't see the justification in 1 maybe 2 fish per bait. Z Man plastics are ridiculously durable. I mean the googan crowd deserves respect for what they've accomplished but their youtube content has definitely gone down hill. At least the 2 that I use to watch. They seem to be all about the dollar now.
@@ZManFishingProducts that smoke purple color he had you make in these is a game changer!! You need to make the TRD in this color as well!! That’s the only thing zman is missing in TRDs is a smoke purple and a bream then the competition won’t have nothing on you!!!
Googan baits are bland copies of other brands, badito bug is the only good bait but overpriced china baits.
First bass this season was caught on this exact rig in green pumpkin.

I use zman worms because they float and stand up on the bottom. Best shakeyhead worm made.
Going to have to add these along with the zman GOAT toadz to my wish list.
I love ZMan plastics! I think they are actually very underrated because people mainly know them for the chatterbait but I catch a ton of fish on their plastics

I was a but surprised when Brian only mentioned length of gap when explaining why he chose to not use a screw lock. Seems like a no brainer to not build it with a screw lock when ur promoting it to be paired with Elaztech baits. If anyone knows how to get one of those onto a screw lock, please let me know!

I can find the worms on line, but the hooks are not available yet. What else do you suggest I use for a head/hook until the SMH hooks become available?

Does it come in a clamshell? Because the other straight tail worms come crooked. I stopped buying them you get like one or two straight ones out of the pack
If they’re crooked throw them in a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds and they’ll straighten out
You didn’t do a screw lock because elaztec doesn’t work with screw locks. I love B-Lat but that was some BS
He still has a point about hook exposure
These should be illegal, they simply catch fish best part is that these are kind of a hidden gem lol
