I am boughg it in 2024 and riding it for 8000kms now..its a great bike with everything you want... Absolutely you need good riding skills or buy lighter bikes... You can ride 130+ anyday.. it is damn stable and feels king of the road
I have been using this Dominar 400 for 2 years in Malaysia. My longest ride was a round trip of 3,000 km from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok. This bike is quite reliable and can easily cruise at 110-120 km/h on the highway at 7,000 rpm. The fuel consumption is also good for a 372cc engine, giving me between 28-32 km per liter.
Exactly.. i didn't get it when he said for a 2024 model being "porky"... It's far better than what it used to be during earlier years. If you are comparing it with something like a 650 or something... That dum*.... And comparing with the NS400 that is just outrageous, dominar is sports touring and NS400 is a naked sports... NS200 is a sweet spot for me... NS400 is no longer a naked sport(as it is using dominar's engine and not KTM)
With good riding skills, dominar 400 is hoot to ride, in cities as well. It never felt as heavy, cause chassis balance is phenomenal. Road grip, handling predictability, breaks, comfort and presence are good too. Riding it on zr rating tyres, further improves the handling.❤ing it.
While I agree to the negative mentioned, I love my D400...its the only bike that gives me a big bike feel in this segment, it was easy to pay for, Maintenance is easy and after a while its easy in traffic too!
It's high time for Bajaj to update this motorcycle. If they do not update the whole bike, at least they should add the safety features like corners abs, etc, and they should ad at least 2-3 new colors, which should include a red color.
I am riding a 2017 dominar. I have not spent a single rupee on it other than service and well over 40k kms. Now the sad part is i am not able to upgrade to any other bike under 5 lac cos its barely feels a upgrade.
Try touring with a Pillion on NS 400. Dominor any day a better bet irrespective of the price for the space it offers for Pillion and the seating position.
been riding the dominar since 2018, the Og version then the UG version, have clocked more than 60k kms , even today if i have to choose a 400cc bike i would get this.. however it surely needs some important updates without which it can not survive the onslaught of this crowded market..
@@ZaheeruddinAhmed-ew4ky I would personally suggest you to wait until the new one comes as for when it's still a question mark. @adil and team, find a better motorcycle in the price range and in the segment, which is better than Dominar. Lazy handle? Hell in city? Have you visited a training school? If not, do get enrolled. You need to learn riding.
guys only reason is price, ppl can adjust with suspension, handling , weight but not price especially when you have heritage brand RE at lower price, many ppl will shy away from bajaj and as a result once it flops then only few buy it,
The unnecessary weight is its biggest let down, ironically so when itself was presented to in the market to put RE down, not saying there aren't heavier bikes but it's weight comes from body parts rather than the engine and chassis, nor is the big dom a pathetic machine , but it seems that Bajaj just couldn't clear out what they want to offer, it has everything, will nearly, including intimidating looks, but just a confused thought process ruined a potential legend. It certainly could have been a new highway centric 'PULSAR' for Bajaj , a machine that comes to its own on highway and then does every other thing pretty well too , but it sadly just got confined to remaining a bike which only makes you breathe in long stretches of good road.
Why is this guy comparing ns 400 to dominar..? City vs tourer? And saying it's not value for money.. Which bikes comes at this price with everything needed... 😂
