The reason is quite clear, sort of. The owner (head) of Rolling Stone magazine is on the board of r&r hof. This is the bunch that decides who gets into the hall. According to Rolling Stone magazine, there are over 100 better guitar players than Alvin Lee. Clearly this dude has an axe to grind with this guy. What that problem is is unclear. As long as this turd is on the hof board, Alvin Lee & Ten Years After will never get in.

The article they ran where they claim there are a hundred better guitar players than Alvin Lee tells me there is something underlying here between the two. What that is, I don't know.
