yep same thing here I even bought it like 4 months before playing. after one afternoon where I was bored and said hey let's try it out I was hooked finished it in like 3 days. props my favorite game of all time
@@adderblack39 not really it's mostly talking without any combat. The choices can be difficult though and sometimes your chances of passing a dialogue check can be very low so you need to do level up by doing something else till you can retry. Overall it isn't difficult so don't worry about it

Legitimately, brought a tear to my eye. That’s beautiful, poignant, and most of all it perfectly describes the essential qualities of the work. You got to the heart of what it is without relying solely on what one does with it. Goddamn.

More than spooky world, Inland Empire is just active imagination. It is often represented during spooky events because those are the ones where imagination takes over, as logic and rethoric cannot exain everything.
I would probably give it a 9.5 out of 10. It's really engrossing up to a point, but when the map starts to expand, there are parts that are a lot of walking without a lot of payoff. I've been playing about a week on my first walkthrough, and I really like it, but the walking and the saving throw system slows the game down some.
In the first hour I was still bumbling around the bar. I've done about 5 hours now and still haven't recovered the body. All I've done is look around a bookshop. This game is SLOOOOOOOOOOOW.
i just downloaded it i love mystery theme games but my pc is a potato but it can slightly handle it. just got hooked on the very first scene when he woke up and i look on the mirror that dammnn smile he made made me fckn love it the humor is good too 😂
I can relate to this review. I just finished Elden Ring and Armored Core 6 and saw that this was on sale… having heard it was good, I picked it up. I was immediately baffled and was pretty sure I didn’t like it. Something about it kept calling to me, though, and after a few days I picked it up again and haven’t put it down since.
See most people dont like Disco because it just focuses on the story and not gameplay which isnt true but if it was it wouldnt even matter because the story transendes video games.
Some parts of the writing in this game are decent reads and mildly entertaining, but overall I just couldn’t enjoy reading so much in a game. It quickly got boring for me.
This is my new favorite HARD game. I died once having a heart attack grabbing a tie and the next play through I had a mental break down and ended up living under a bridge before 3pm the first day.
My guy had that heart attack too! But I had 2 points in body, so it didn't kill him outright. What were you and I trying to prove by not turning off the fan first?

There is a teleportation mechanic if you buy a map from the book store! Cant imagine the game without it

I stopped playing shortly after starting. I became stuck and the text was overwhelmingly. I'm looking forward to taking another crack at it this fall.
