How do you get the view in the piano roll where u can see your other tracks melodies

You don’t have to think of it this way I guess but technically that progression is the 4, 5, 6 if you are thinking major scale(F) or 6, 7, 1 in minor (d). Despite A# being the first note in the sequence the Tonic or key is F major or Dminor which would be the 1 , which is the first note in the key of the melody, not that you played but in the scale of what you played.

@@xj1mmyx no worries it took me a while to realize you can start on a major chord that sounds like the “beginning” however it’s not the “home” of the scale per say, since the do re mi thing wouldn’t work starting from that 4th major

Sick as always! Recently I've been trying to re-create some 4am type beats. I just love the pluck arps with delay he uses in a lot of his songs. (A good example is CAPODXSH prod 4am) The contrast of the soft mellow melodies with the 808s. Would love to see you try and re-create something like that, it got that simple style yet very emotional sound I see you also like to go for!

not entirely sure, it might just be the way that he mixes it or even just the way it sounds in whichever key he uses predominately
