He brought tears to my wife’s eyes when he sang this last Friday night at Stone Mountain Arts Center, Brownfield Maine. As good I expected it to be, the show was better. Albert is a huge talent, and a nice man…. amazingly down to earth.

Not really relevant to this song, but his playing reminded me of an Eric Clapton tour when AL was in his bad, together with Gary Brooker and others. Clapton gave them each a slot. GB played AWSOP, and AL « Country Boy », at the speed of light, faster than on the recording. The audience was rapt in silence at the end when some wag shouted « now play something fast »! The place erupted! This was in the good old days when top bands played on cinemas, clubs and theatres, not vast soulless arenas. I miss that.
