Something you forgot to mention about the final phase: When you are loading the final 28 fish you should put 6 in the other cannon just in case you don't kill it, otherwise you will fail the round.
Wacthed your guide for the 10 points, then did it again for fun. messed it up by only getting it down to 16% on the first part, and got 11 points somehow in the end. Thanks man, good guide!
Thanks for the guide! Still works well. I found the timing to be quite tight on the second inventory, failed a couple times because of too much fire or bad luck on double fish. Only other thing to note is that 8300 pts is required to guarantee 10 permits. This method gets 8000-8100 which has a high chance of giving 10, but can also give 9 permits instead.
This was a great guide! I tried doing other methods like the fire fighter one and would either not get enough points or just flat out fail. This method was so much easier and way more consistent! Thanks for the guide!
i recently got 9880 points in one round, 13 permits. took me 13 minutes 33 seconds. No bucket/fire strat, full spirit angler, imcando hammer, and barbarian fishing at level 65 Also you don't need to waste a fish, you can put 1 fish in at 4% and then click under yourself to stop, once tempoross becomes vulnerable you can start putting them in again without losing a fish.
This guide is actually good because you can do it with 51 fishing and a regular harpoon and hammer and rope with the buckets. Only advice I'll give is to practice Tempoross a couple times before trying this so you can get used to the fishing spawns and when the double will appear for the first round, as that is the round where you have the highest chance of losing because of storm.
I tryed to make the guide as low requirement as possible, the updated guide if I do one will probably mention things like humidify spell and other harpoons to really try to max it out
10/10 for ingenuity your an absolute legend however there is a much more accessible way to get the 10 permits in a solo, it involves a touch of RNG when you have temperos left with one hit on the 3rd round, fill your inventory with buckets if the other side on the island is completely on fire and put out a good chunk of them. Then fire a few fish from the other ship. Great video thanks
They've changed it so you start the boss with 100% shield. You can't fish and cook 17 then fish and cook 19 before phase 1. You can fish 17 cook dump and fish about 6 raw ones before you have to trigger phase 1. So try the updated version, it's not as easy anymore.
Hey bro, you should add that phase two with two dropped buckets has to be done twice. Was super confusing using the summary screen at the end where it looks like it’s just one phase. Other than that, great guide!
Nope just keep trying to do it more efficiently. Fish in the newest spots, use the double fish spot stuff like that to make it a few ticks quicker. It really boils down to keep trying and you'll be able to do it every time soon.
EZ. Still works in 2022. Did this while skipping first phase pool and went fire extinguisher mode on the other side of the island. Got 11 permits through secret final tempoross phase truly final really really final yes really final phase. 9090 points

I fucked up on one of my runs, but I had like 15 extra fish loaded for the cannon after last phase. Saw that they still fired as the storm was building up and thought "maybe I could push him to a fourth round?" Is this doable at a lower fishing level? I've tried at 54 and seem to fall very far behind by the time the very first set of fires spawn and then come back to an island absolutely overrun with them.
I believe your level doesn't matter when catching harpoon fish the exp just increases at higher levels but improving your harpoon can help. This guide should be possible as soon as your able to do tempoross. It took me a while to figure it out so I hope you can get it soon. But try to make sure to get the bar under 10% to stop fires from happening.
I follow the same inventory set up, but finding that the first load of fish only gets me to around 30% engery, not 4% like the video - any Ideas on what I need to adjust?
RNG is so bad in this damn game.... I can't manage to cook ALL of the fish after the first inventory... You have to have the perfect run with minimal fires and waves... *edit* I made sure to split up my cooking. fish 8-10 and cook while waiting for the double spot. basically did that each time and made everything a bit faster. But great guide btw, the only one that really helped!
This method doesn't really seem to work anymore for some reason. Maybe it's been updated? I cannot seem to survive the first round, being as close to tick perfect with cooking and fishing as I can.
it works, I can't see your gameplay but I get it to work nearly every time. try the method for a bit and you'll know where you can cut time on your runs. you don't have to be tick perfect or have the exact amount of fish just beat the storm, you'll get in the groove and you'll make 10 points most often.
DON'T USE AN INFERNAL HARPOON. I tried this like 8 times and kept getting 7800 points and didnt understand why, because i did exactly as was done in the video. It seems you dont get the cooking points if you cook fish with the Infernal. Once i swapped it for a normal harpoon i got it.
No they didnt update this. You gotta cut time where you can, if you aren aren't getting a full inventory then do the method properly first and don't worry about ten points. just worry about storm intensity and you'll get it.
After the first set of fish launched gets him down to 4% and you've dropped two buckets I can't catch the rest of the fish and cook them before storm intensity is 100%
It took me a little while to get the method down, but it's mainly about cutting time wasters down like getting shocked or burned or having to get water at inconvenient times and a bunch more small stuff like that.

If you check out my newest solo guide it'll help, it's all about tips and tricks and making tempoross faster(it is a diffrent method though). I will say try it a few times and try to speed up your times after each attempt the first round is the hardest.
It's hard to say but if u can douse a few extra fires it may help, also try to get a few more fish in before the end but it took me a few trys to get it consistent so I hope you get it soon!

How come whenever I do this, fire does not spread on the opposite side of the island? It seems like the major difference between your guide and the wiki is just that the wiki says to spend time dousing fires before finishing the boss and you don't bother with that. Instead, you opt to get a full inventory of cooked fish instead of just the 2 needed. Will that one difference really get me from ~6.8K to 8k points? I spent my last run sprinting to the other side of the island only to find no fire had spread
It does get you more points to fish cook and load the next inventory. I dont rly douse the fires unless they are in my way and I know that a wave isent comming.
jesus... 1 time I had the 8k something points, but I left 1% and let the storm hit a 100 (he said you win and lose or something), cuz I thought that was necessary to unlock the 'secret 4th round' which I though was needed to scape in thee last points for the achievement. Would have made it if I didn't click away intentionally at that point. Eventually I got it, but what a shitty grind..
Yeah forth round is just a lil almost easter egg/glitch not nessicary for the achievement. But to get the 4th round to work make sure you load both cannons
I dont rly get to watch your runs but I did solo the second I unlocked temp, at 30? I think. and I can do it with a lvl 3 with no run regeneration . So just try to shave time off your runs and get more point by doing more fires or repairs. And cut down on time by always using the closest fish spot or double fish spot
Just an edit down the road worked great for me got my combat challenges knocked out so thanks I just wanted to point out a small change with the final round instead of fishing you fill up on 2 fish and the rest with buckets and proced to walk to the othersidevof the island and put out fires for the last round I have a video on this just of a run attempting this change did reward with 12 chest attempts
I havent tryed duos but I think as long as you guys are on the same page with mabye a voice chat, i think it could work but i dont think it would be easier.
The timing for the fire is the same every time so once you get the rhythm you'll be able to do it every time. But try and get the 3 fires closes to you when they spawn to hopefully manage the fires easier

Greatest tutorial of all time. Got 8320 points with ease. Only thing I'll add is to put the fish in both cannons at the end or else you can lose.
Also drop hammer and rope at the end so you have space to catch 27 fish instead of 25. Guaranteed 8320 points.

no wonder it keeps failing trying this method on the first wave... I was doing it max efficiency and got success 1/5 times

im not sure what you mean? the video says drop 2 buckets at 3:33 which is all you need to drop until 6:12 when you drop them all.

What plugin are you using to show the timings for the fishing spots?
It just the tempoross plugin and mabye the fishing plugin as well but I turn the fishing plugin off often.

its not enough information for me to know, but be sure to cook all your fish and get the required number of fish to shoot.

prioritize uptime on double fishing spots, when the game starts catch ~6 and cook them and then the double fishing spot will be up

it requires an infernal harpoon and humidify pushing tempoross to round 6. you have to brute force tempoross for the 4th and 5th round.
Keep failing on the final round, intensity just goes up too fast and my fish can't keep up. Was this fixed?
No you just have to load both cannons evenly to beat the timer
