Nice video, thanks for sharing ! Here is another highlight of the book of Job : according to the structure of the passage in Job chapter 1, the expressions "Fire of God" and "Mighty wind" are synonymous of the Sabeans' and the Chaldeans' destructive acts. I pray God spirit reveals to us truth as we search for it. If God is permitting the thing to happen, then isn't it in reality that He is "causing" the thing happen...think about it. We need to watch the whole picture. Job was written for a reason.
Correct The Bible speaks just in the way you have described. Attributes CAUSATION to God of acts performed by others. As the pastors discuss, this language is used to convey God's sovereignty over all of his creation. This doesn't need to be twisted into something sinister and evil. God does not force his creatures to behave against their will. Full stop. Having power over his creatures is not the same as forcing his creatures to act against their will. Let's be clear and always praise the goodness and sovereign love God displays to us!
Brennan, The Almighty God certainly does reveal Truth to those who search diligently for it... It won't come to the careless or those whose motives are not pure.
We need to remember that the God in the OT is Jesus. It was He who interacted with Adam, Noah, Moses, etc. It was He who drown the Egyptians in the Red Sea and did everything in the OT. (see 1Cor 10:1-12). God (Jesus) is the only One who has the right to kill because He is the only One who can create and give life(John 1:1-3, 14).
So you are attributing the label of killer and Savior on Jesus and God, right ? You are therefore saying g that God is good and bad; that is incorrect. In the old Testament, God is simply allowing human beings to make they own choice. Where He is silent He allows. Satan is the killer, God is the restorer. He is not arbitrary!

YHWH sanctioned and ordered the killings of numerous children mentioned in 1 Samuel 15:3 saying "Now go and attack the ʽAmalekites and destroy without quarter all that belongs to them; have no mercy on them; put to death man and woman, child at play and baby at the breast, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”" So to talk about what have they done to deserve this, is completely meaningless and without knowledge of the Bible. Someone is meant to be destroyed.
You try to prove that "someone is meant to be destroyed" by saying God killed Amalekites, including babies. This is inapplicable proof. Destruction in the Bible is something that happens in the Lake of Fire - condemnation, punishment of eternal fire etc. You have no proof that Amalekitian babies and children, who in the biblical context could not be responsible for their actions, are destroyed (condemned).
