- The very first DLC pack in Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield's Expansion Pass - The Isle Of Armor - has launched, and overall I've really, really enjoyed it! This video is going to showcase 25 things you can do after completing the main story of The Isle Of Armor - after obtaining and evolving Kubfu and receiving a gigantamax Kanto starter of your choice - that will hopefully keep you playing the game for many more hours to come!

I love the sharpedo inclusion
You can’t outrun them but you can get away. When a sharpedo appears head straight for it but don’t boost yet. Get close & boost while making a sharp turn. Sharpedos can only do speed going in a straight direction, if they make sharp turns they skid and crash
I've also found if it's coming towards you and you can get it directly behind you off screen it doesnt get you.
Or you can run straight forward and have Sharpedo located two or ten o'clock, when he get's close; simply speed up.
I just make them ram in the max raid dens

Poke Char you just do a bunch of Max Raid Battles in the Isle of Armor and they respawn
It is the only way to get Melmetal at the moment so id say it def is mainstream even if they arent continuing the lets go series

you can also get a slowpoke sweater by talking to the NPC that weaves you the slowbro cuff while having a slowpoke in your party.

This really confused me at first because I'd been surfing around the Workout sea for what felt like hours trying to find this girl again now that I had enough Galarian Twigs (I was also diglett hunting tbf) and when I finally thought I'd found her, she gave me a jumper, I'm like... but what about my cuff? And then I spoke to her again and all was OK with the world.

One thing that is really cool about the overworld pokemon is that they actually walk at different speeds based on their in game speed stat. It scales with their base speed stat.

I really think it is cool how, when you beat the tower of two fists, mustard says "maybe the time has come" and when you beat him the last time he says it again (or something to that affect) and says we will find out what it is "eventually". And hop says sonia went to research in the "snow and ice" so we'll likely see her in the crown tundra

They sent an announcement on Pokemon Home talking about the Pokedex issue, so that will probably be patched

Edit: I learned recently that the crown tundra dlc will most likely give you this feature (found through data-mining). It's still a shame they didn't include that in the isle of armor.

@@007TrickShotz I think it will be implemented later it's just that maybe they didn't because the Isle of armor is a free area while the other island is more restricted which can lead to bugs.

It's also disappointing how slow all of the Pokemon followers are. I wish it was based on their speed stat, so fast ones like Cinderace would run right next to you all the time and slow ones like Tyranitar would lag behind :/

Update from the team on the cram-o-matic! You can get a golden bottle cap for just 3 bottle caps if you put them in this order: Bottle Cap/(Any other item)/Bottle Cap/Bottle Cap.

Once you get Klara's rare league card she will sometime pop up in raid battles as an NPC for you. Not much better than the others but her Slowbro does hit a bit harder (at least she doesnt waste 10 turns using Helping hand and Cosmic Power)

A INTERESTING FACT: if you show a Zarude to a scientist who evaluates our pokedex at the island station, she gives us the Kanto ASH hat as a gift, I believe the name is partner hat

Theres a way to dodge the sharpedo and you go towards it until it's at a certain distance then go around to the side of it to juke it, then it despawns and then respawns farther away

1 way to dodge Sharpedo other than getting on an island or using a raid den as a shield is getting out of it's line of sight.
Boost around Sharpedo enough to eventually have it zoom away in one direction.

The Isle of Armor Pokédex issue was a bug that was just patched a couple days ago. You can now transfer from HOME and it will automatically register them in the Dex. No need to waste time and money on the daycare.
0:21 Your Pokemon can literally follow you in the game before this "Let's Go".

Hey guys I thought I might share how to get all 3 kanto starters in g max forms feel free to share it so firstly ur going to get a g max charmander from leon soon to be charizard next in the isle of armor choose either squirtle or bulbasaur soon to be g max blastoise or venasaur , next you'll want to grab pokemon home on a new device or download it and choose the kanto starter you dont have like if u have squirtle from isle of armor choose bulbasaur or vice versa then evolve it into its final evolution stage and transfer to your game head to the dojo and give it max soup so that it can g max

I just want to say there was a helpful video by Austin st. John I believehe also showed you how to fix this glitch right now since they aren't registering the RightWay the method you are using is is great but if you go to the pope nursery and deposit your Pokemon any two at a time that already registered put them in right away then take them out right away you don't need to breed as you take each Pokemon back out from the poke nursery they register to the island of armor Pokedex to completed much faster
Btw, to get the shiny zeraora, you HAVE to deposit a pokemon into your pomemon home to get it
211 if you do a hacked raid for Zarude, You can also get the ash hat if you talk to the lady who updated you Pokédex in the train station if you have Zarude in your party.
Tip: If you transfer pokemon from Home and you want to immidiately get the pokedex entry put the pokemon on day care and then take it back to your back. There is your entry!

Yeah things can follow you in Let's Go on Switch and you can ride them, so it hasn't been that long and it is really missed
I just want t mention that I got the DLC before beating Sword and Shield and when I got to the isle, thinking it would be a good place to train before making my way to the town where the championship stuff is, most pokemon were teens and twenties so I think that the higher levels are if you are champion already.
Also, I don’t really know how to mention that to Serebii so if you could pass the message along after checking to confirm what I said is true, I would appreciate it.
The Pokemon in the wild area scale based on your progression through the main story. I believe you can access the dlc as soon as you gain access to the wild area so naturally it would follow the same level scaling.
These dlcs make me excited for the next full game, in terms of quality of life. Imagine if the next one is a whole ass breath of the wild size map in the style of a wild area. That’s what I want

How can the Diglett thing be hard for me? Took me about a week to find them all. From a tracker’s POV, it’s easy for a beginner to get lost but an expert finds his way after enough tours in a newly acquainted property.
The 1st thing i done when it dropped was got a Buneary and hatch like crazy till i got the all best on it 😂 then gone right to look at the new outfits and hairs 😂 i am kinda put down becuz the outfits are cute but not all of them i wish they bring back outfits they had in shops of other games

So actually, fun fact, this isn't confirmed, but I think of the new bike types as the two types of shinies. There are square shinies, for the square particles in the black bike, and normal shinies for the star-shaped particles in the white bike.

I feel like the Isle of Armor was more for competitive players. Sure there’s a whole new wild area to explore, but if you were hoping for a meaty story, you’d likely be disappointed. However there are a ton of changes in the IoA that will really benefit VGC. Crown Tundra will likely be better for non-competitive players, as the theme of it is “Exploration”
