  • Howdy. Today we will look through the entirety of the Papyrus of Ani, an Egyptian Book of the Dead dated to roughly 1250 BC. Furthermore, we will discuss the discovery of this Papyrus of Ani, and how it was acquired in a somewhat nefarious way.
We will look at the impact the papyrus had on the rest of the world, and we will culminate our research into Ancient Egypt with my entire collection (so far) of the First Photographs of Egypt, dating to the late 1840’s, the 1850’s through the 1870’s.
It will showcase many images we have looked at in our last few months of research, as well as other photographs we have yet to discuss. Overall, this is an incredibly deep dive into Egypt, a subject that has been fascinating me lately. Hopefully you find something that fascinates you in this video, and I’d love to hear about it in the comment section down below.

I found a genuine Horus Hawk Statue in Hawaii. It has genuine mole hair french felt on the bottom from c. 1810. It may have been in the possessions of the UH Professor of Archaeology when he passed away. Somehow it ended up in a hippy shop in Hamakua next to Tibetan Singing Bowls😂. It is black diorite and seems perfectly symmetrical. Sources indicate it is one of the Saqqara pieces taken from the red pyramid of Djoser by the French. It is also one of the rare pieces with later crude scratchings for the claw and eye details😮

Being that most of these are ruins and remains does show the possibility of some sort of war long before or maybe cataclysmic event. I believe there might’ve been a huge war on the earth that we haven’t been told about.

And maybe before this war or cataclysmic event the entire earth was a paradise of some sort

it is interesting to see all the areas where they were still digging stuff out of the rubble - it has even got stuff still on the roof.

Looks like an ancient chess board layout.
Small dome being King, large dome is Queen, both protected by Knights, with Bishop next door in Temple with a Minuett/Rook at corner attracting lightning with it's lightning rod.

I read somewhere that the merchants were becoming too rich and powerful so the king and priests invented the After Life and the idea that you and your ancestors were affected by your actions in this world. To save you and your family you needed to buy maps and many other items to prepare yourself for judgment day. Social credit scores were the ideal way but if you slip and do a wrong deed you could buy redemption from a priest. IMO some of the Papyrus Books are expensive retellings of life to appease the gods so they may save your soul and the souls of all your family past, present and in the future. The story went on to say that most of these cost close to a year's wages. This one must have cost a lot more.

The colors of that version were the most amazing i have ever seen, I would love to be able to glance over it and like Speed Read it by taking in the pictures. You know its bad enough that the artifacts are stolen and lost for ever, then we have to contend with a antiquities boss that acts like he's the only one alive that has any knowledge of the place and its people.

We're told that papyrus can last for 1000s of years, but only because there are these supposedly ancient Egyptian ones.
It would be a good test to see just how long papyrus REALLY lasts in the real world, because much as I love all things ancient Egyptian, I've come to the conclusion that we might not be looking at an ancient civilisation, rather one which is far more recent.
I know this will trigger many, but both paint and paper (no matter what it is made on or from) deteriorates in time and even though the desert is dry it was, until fairly recently, subjected to annual flooding from the Nile, which means that humidity levels would have been far higher in the past than they are today, thus aiding in the deterioration of both paint on plaster and paint on papyrus, including the papyrus itself!

It is amazing how the way the original monuments have been restored to almost original appearance. The monuments were all but destroyed by over zealous people and cultures. I do not believe that the Egyptians today have much DNA from the original Egyptians. Also the original Egyptians were probably a mixture of societies and cultures. Your videos are amazing, my heartfelt appreciation.

I noticed too that all the statues have them walking with the left foot first - it is so interesting to see the way the false religion was used to mislead so many people. That was why they were destroyed in the first place but also we see the same story in the Bible about Moses and all the false gods they had that were humiliated during the time he had to deal with the Pharoah and how he also believed he was a God.

Seems like same event recorded as Israelite Exodus written by Egyptians when recorded by Moses also.

After the first 7 minutes I got the impression that the Egyptian Book of Dead is an account of Israelite Exodus going forth by day instead of night like thieves. Greatest impact event on Egypt ever breaking it's power at it's height. Written couple hundred years plus or minus 1250 BCE.

@@jmc8076 you're correct, exact events are never really known.
According to God's plan it doesn't matter if past events are known as they happened. The production of fruit is what matters, and doesn't depend on knowing past events as they occurred. It's our curiosity only. Perhaps the way history is told is for teaching others lessons that can be learned by the narrative according to those explaining history.

Showing these pictures without any dates, source and location is like making me watch you take a dumb...it stinks. What's the point in looking at pictures that the only information given about is "somewhere in egypt"...now you make me take another 5 steps just to find out where this picture came from when you already had the information at hand.

This cannot be called ancient Egyptian because the Hyksos in the middle kingdom changed a lot of things in lower Egypt. You have to make sure that you refer to late middle and early. They’re all different people the Hyksos brought in the Habiru (Hebrew) In the Middle Kingdom as another work force. the Anatolian invaders changed the ancient Egyptian religion to fit their own. that is why Set becomes relevant in lower Egypt because he was more like this Samarian creation God and thank you for your hard work.
