I came back from Peru about 4 weeks ago, Did the Inca Trail. If anyone is thinking about doing it, I definitley recommend it, its such an amazing experience and coming through the sun gate and seeing Machu Picchu after walking four days is such an amazing feeling. We booked with G Adventures, who I also recommend, and by travelling with a group for two weeks we met some awesome people, made heaps of friends and shared many inside jokes. Hands down best thing I've ever done!

Love MachuPichu. Every time you turn around and look at it you feel like you're looking at it again for the very first time. Hard to explain.
Well done. The hike up to Machu Picchu is pretty insane. The first mile from Aguas Calientes down the river is a nice, leisurely stroll. The second mile up the mountain is probably the most difficult mile I've ever walked, and I've done a lot of trekking in the Himalayas. Still it's worth doing if you're feeling up for it but yeah, not with a lot of heavy camera gear.

I´m from Perú and this video just made me realize all the beauty in my country. If you ever come to Perú again, I recomend you to do the Inka trail, it´s hard but it´s totally worth it.

I did the hike back when I was 18 with a full backpack and it was the HARDEST thing ive ever done but the most rewarding at the top. A place id love to go back to!
I climbed the waynapicchu when I was 14 and it was just the most beautiful view I have ever seen. You should definitely do it in the future!! your videos are amazing i love themm
Awesome! I was there in September just spectacular- I would highly recommend going to Rainbow Mountain a great day trip from Cusco. Not crowded at all and the ride up is beautiful following a red-hued river!
Planning a trip for next February. The people we are going with insisted on going in January 2019 I don’t understand why during the rainy summer season but it is what it is. Cannot wait to go!

Love the way you edit your videos! That trip was quite a splendour though :) I did it hard way - strenuous 3 days of an absolutely breathtaking trek, but then when you finally arrive at your destination, I think that view of Machu Picchu "tastes" even better..

Is not an extremely tiny amount of people is just like every other country in South America, is not our mother language so obviously not many of us will, you dont need to be a guide tourist necessarily
Hmm an extremely tiny amount of very old Peruvians don't speak English but, the young ones, we do
Arleen Carrillo the only people that spoke English when I went there were people from other European and English speaking countries. And some Israelis l. The Peruvians I met didnt speak a word of it and the ones that did spoke quite poorly and were bank workers, tour guides, travel agency people and airline workers. The incans don’t speak English or Spanish as well. I know quite a lot of Spanish so communicating with them was so-so though I needed some help at times. Therefore as I’ve said before: not a lot of Peruvians speak English. (I talked to a lot of locals: none of them spoke English)
Bueno yo he vivido toda mi vida aquí, así que creo que puedo decir realmente, al menos más que tú, cuantas personas hablan o entienden un nivel decente de inglés; con esto no me refiero a que la mayoría lo hable, claro que no, pero no creo que se pueda decir que solo lo hablan guías o trabajadores de banco, y que encima lo hablan mal, además es obvio que muy pocas personas van a hablar inglés si te vas a un lugar alejado de la ciudad, pero en la capital bastantes lo hacen, pero sí es cierto, y suponible creo, que la mayoría no lo hace.
my mum did the inka trail, proud of her! She was in a car crash before I was born and her knee has never been right since and had to have heaps of operations so it was a bit of a challenge.

Man I have followed you for a couple years now and see big change. Love your channel either way but I no longer run to your channel, yet still love your places you visit.
Great video production as usual but, in my experience, two essentials you mentioned but didn't do and I'd heavily recommend:
(1) Hike (4 or 5 days) to Machu Picchu. If Inca Trail is already full, do another trail (eg. Salkantay which i did). Train is for weenies (but you can take it home).
(2) Huayna (Wayna) Picchu is a must-climb experience. Probably not for the faint of heart but it adds another dimension to the visit with amazing views and is quite the adventure.
Love watching your videos especially before I'm about to travel there! Could you please go to Italy soon!
