Hey Amanda, will you consider doing “what I eat in a day” videos? That is what I struggle most, the food part! The ifit has been really worth it for me. The Haunted Walks and Exploring the Abandoned with Dalen, kept me on the elliptical the entire workout…more than my usual 5 minutes.😂
You look great! Happy to hear you are feeling more comfortable now. I can 100% relate to this. I'd love to hear more about your diet/what you eat in a day if you're ever open to sharing. I'm pretty sure we are the same size, at least I had been that size my entire adult life as you said and now it's getting much harder to lose and maintain my ideal weight. Not to mention, it's definitely harder when you're 40+ and also cooking for kiddos who don't want a chicken salad for dinner!
Such good advice. I loosely follow WW (I lost 50 pounds on it 11 years ago and have kept it off), and tracking what I eat is so beneficial. I do a fitness program 5 days a week at home, which has worked out well. The thought of having to get myself to an outside gym is not something I am interested in! I also added intermittent fasting 3 years ago - I am a 12/12 person - and this has really helped keep my weight steady. You have always looked great, but glad you are feeling better.
Great video. You look awesome. I am post menopausal and can’t exercise due to spinal cord injury, but did the research and and the hard work learning what works for my body/weight loss. I have exceeded my goal and I am pretty happy. I also did lots of swaps, but also portion control is so important! I think the super size culture has ruined lots of us. I also intermittent fast- I take off a random day a week to switch it up and it all works.
Thank you for this content!! So insightful! Are u able to do a skincare video? No makeup, just skincare esp for those of us who may be in or approaching the 40s ❤
Hi Amanda, thank you so much for sharing the lifestyle changes you made that helped you loose weight. I do intermittent fasting as well and it's helped with my sluggish metabolism. Also, I will be incorporating the the swap out tip because I don't like diets and depriving myself. I rather swap the unhealthy option with a healthier alternative or have a smaller portion of my favourite foods or beverages😁. Great video my friend, take care and have a good night 💜.
You look great and I’m glad you did it earlier than menopause. I started fasting during menopause because I couldn’t stop the weight from happening. It just happens. We lose estrogen we gain weight. I lost 17 lbs two years ago with IF. I’m at my high school weight and will never go back. I was so uncomfortable. This is a great video for women to see thanks for doing it
Great video! How do you feel working out without eating in the morning? Do you have your protein water or any supplements before or after your workout? Thanks!
Thank you Amanda. I’ve been wanting to know what you’ve been doing. Not wanting to be nosy or insensitive. Know what I mean? Since it seems like so many people are taking Ozempic. You look so amazing!! Good for you doing it on your own! ❤❤
Why wouldn’t you describe it as what it is. Weight loss. It’s ridiculous having to pussyfoot around, when you’re talking about a healthy lifestyle. You look great as always.
She trying to gentle because everything is fat shaming now lol. We can’t tell people it’s unhealthy to be overweight. We tell them they are awesome lol.
Hi Amanda, Thank you for so many great tips. Aren't you hungry on the 16/8 fast? Also when you break the fast aren't you at risk to binge eating like you did before when you use to "unintentionally fast" by not having breakfast or lunch and than binging on fast food because you felt so deprived. thx.
I’m currently doing 18/6 but my goal is so get to the 16/8 eventually. On the 18/6 I have no issues, with that being said I’ve been going to bed earlier too.
@@LuxMommy Going to be early is so important. but seriously how are you not starving? And how to you prevent cluster feeding after such a long fast. thx?
The video we’ve all been waiting for is finally here ❤ All great tips and reminders on it being a lifestyle rather than a “diet”. I really wish you had dived more into the numbers, like how much weight you actually lost and how long it took you after making these changes to start seeing results? Now in my late 30s, I am trying to focus more on how I feel in my body rather than the number on the scale, but even with that mindset, it would be nice to go down a pant size 😂 Was there a certain point that you realized you needed to make a change? Clothes fitting too tightly, for example? I wish you had spoken more on your journey in that aspect.
You look Gorgeous girl. Yes, IF is a part of my life as well as Extended Fasting & have been for years. I'm into weight lifting and would love to have that healthy body I use to have. When I saw that ice cream, nearly, I Screamed.🤣 Haven't had any for a while, I don't bring it in the house, but I just might treat myself outside this weekend.😋 Thanks for Inspiring.🧡🍂
This video was extremely helpful. Some of these tips I’ve started to incorporate the last month. ❤❤you look amazing. I would like to see a what I eat in a day. I think you’ve done it before but like a realistic not just healthy what I eat. My one guilty pleasure I can’t give up is Starbucks. 😩😩I just can’t but going to grande instead of venti is a good idea.
@@LuxMommy this was a good topic and doable ideas. Thank you. Question: what is the phone app you use for tracking what you eat please. You look great! The added bonus is feeling well. Thanks again.
Hi Amanda! Are you familiar with Mindy Pelz? She’s a great source for IF and women here on YT if it’s your thing. I was implementing it and it did help me with weight, but I’m 47 and perimenopausal now and I feel like it was stressing my body too much…causing lots of perimenopausal symptoms for me, hot flashes, poor sleep, fatigue. Once I backed off of it I’ve gained weight but my symptoms have gone away for now. It’s definitely a tricky thing for some and you do have to figure out the sweet spot I agree. I might go back to it again as I need to load a few pounds and I wanted the health benefits from it more than weight loss but I feel less stressed out not doing it.

HAHA, yes I will see what I can do as far as food videos!!
Just to be transparent, it might have to be after the holidays, life is pretty busy right now!

Lifestyle change is so important for health changes not just weight loss. It really improves moods, confidence, mental states
Totally agree!!

Yes it’s very unfair but true.

Yes, that's a good swap or ask for less pumps! There are always ways to make small adjustments that add up!

What time do u do your workouts. Have u noticed a difference in doing them at night vs morning for weight loss? Thanks!
I do most of my workouts in the morning. I am not aware of a difference in times of day, but that could be based on a per person thing.
