DankWarMouse all those years I imagined a music video in my mind exactly this way screen splitted with 2 KOAN Sound's: the 50s and the present both play the song in different ages and when the beat come both generations mashed up together on the dance floor, going back to 50s and getting back to present days

Recently they have said they also use Serum, so much of their wound design is wavetable synthesis. Much of what they do is in the resampling stages and later when they put the sound into a sampler and use the sampler and effects chains to work out ideas. They said in their ama that they work out around an hours worth of different material for each song and then arrange a track from the best bits.
