@SaraV-gx3oo steel wool, helps with dull look and it scuffs up the oil to except the water size....

Fantastic video! I've been water and oil gilding furniture and frames for years but am getting ready to do my first glass sign. The size you used for the matte finish looked very clear when you put it on. Can I ask what brand you used? The brands I use, both 1 hr and 12 hr have an amber color not clear.

I typically use dux 1 hr size which has an amber tint
