    I think the Ridstar Q20 is a great entry level bike in this category. I haven't ridden it (I have the Engwe) but it's gotten some good reviews. The biggest drawback is it's got a small-ish 20 Ah battery, but it's got a fairly punchy motor, hydraulic brakes, and dual suspension and you can find it for < 1000. No idea what their support is like though. I think it's going to be good competition for the Engwe for best entry level value. I have the M20 and I'm actually thinking about the Ridstar for my wife :).

    Thanks for the info. I'm very happy with my Ariel Rider X-Class and just ordered a Spark Cycleworks Bandit. I love the Moped style ebikes especially the longer flat seats in order to get best pedaling position.

      Agreed. I’m a big fan too for crushing purposes. Not great for pedaling.

      @@TheFrickinShredder My Ariel Rider pedals great.I just put a 60 tooth sprocket on it to improve the pedaling more. The Bandit comes with a 60 tooth sprocket and I'm hoping it's as pedal friendly as my X-Class. I usually try to stay below 20 mph anyway, just for the longer battery range. if I need speed , I just grab my CS20 Cyclone. Only time I pedal it is when I see law enforcement.

    Eahora Romeo (2,880Wh): Range claim is 70-112 miles
    Bee Challenger (1,440Wh): Range claim is 80-110 miles
    It’s quite wild how there’s a huge difference in battery capacity but the range claim are about identical. Would’ve expected Romeo to have more miles range than Bee Challenger if not double than that of Bee Challenger.

    • @TheFrickinShredder
      @TheFrickinShredder  Год назад

      I think Eahora is breaking with tradition and actually giving you an honest estimate of how far it will go with a normal sized rider in normal riding conditinos. Most of the time what you get for these estimates is what it will do riding only in pedal assist 1, with a raccoon for a rider, peddaling furiously, riding around a track in an inside jym with somebody riding behind you blowing a high-powered fan at your back.

    A couple of these bikes were on my possible list, I went with the eahora hedonic cupid 1000W electric bike, I liked the way it looked and it's range of up to 110 miles with pas 60 miles electric alone. Hoping I made a good choice, I couldn't find reviews on it yet, it arrives in the first week of January 2024

    I have the Engwe M20 and I don't recommend it for an adult rider, it has lots of issues and is overall a poor-quality bike. Maybe it's good for a teenager or something but that's it. I plan to get an Annoki, Ariel Rider or a Revv soon.

I would like to say that the Spark Bandit probably better than all of these bikes. 2k nominal motor, full suspension, headlight, tail light, turn signals, hydraulic brakes, 7 speed derailer, 5 pedal assist, 60 tooth chain ring, 40mph, dual batter option, comes with vin number, and stylish. Price only $3,195 base model. I have a Bandit. BEST bike ever!!! MORE Bandit content please

      @@lawrencejones8011A good competitor against the Spark Bandit is the Eunorau Flash. The triple battery maxed out mid-drive model of Eunorau Flash costs $2,997. The Flash is of course a 52 volts battery electric bike. Flash got an 8-speed shifter, bigger battery capacity than Bandit, mid-drive motor, hydraulic brakes, 440 pounds payload capacity, whopping 220 newton meters of torque, full suspension, and 5 pedal assist. The base model of the Flash is way lower than $2,997. I’m honestly surprised that not more people review or even talk about the mid-drive Eunorau Flash.

    Fat tire ebikes are a waste of time and money if you are not going to use them for off road only. They are useless for street and urban riding. The rolling resistance on a 3 or 4 inch tire is terrible and they are a waste of battery power, and they are very uncomfortable to ride and pedal because of the seat design. They are just a fad because of all the hype and over priced as well. No company could give me one, I'd tell them No Thank You...

      I would almost agree, but if you go with a mountain style, mid-drive torque sensor, suspension, dual battery, you can have some fun, w/a Bixtrix Beast....its the most natural peddling bike w/160nm, 1000w motor, w/1.5kw battery power...
