Thank you for the review, Joe! I believe you recorded this video recently, as we are currently adding a significant number of new items.
Within a week, we will add ~200 new products from ShadowDancer, Z-SEY, and Citadel. After this round of changes, we will update the website again to display the products logically. On the homepage, there are many duplicates because they are all the latest products, and the same goes for the category pages. However, once we're done, we will shuffle and arrange the homepage accordingly.
Regarding the category pages on the homepage, we know they are somewhat redundant, but there are reasons for including them. One reason is to improve user experience; there's a significant demand for Japanese swords, though not necessarily a specific type. This means some customers might visit our website and want to quickly access the Japanese category, while others might want to go directly to the katana page from the homepage without having to click twice.
Therefore, on the homepage, we included the most popular categories so they are just one click away for the users.
My pleasure, thanks for all the input my firends
Great website - very clean and easy to navigate and filter. Are there any considerations for different payment options such as Paypal, which seems to be a standard and accepted form of payment on most online vendors?
@Moonwynd5 Yes I believe PayPal is accepted friend thank yoy
@@JoeSteel1 when I go to checkout, there is no option for Paypal only credit card unforuntately.
Awsome Joe! Thanks for informing us on this website
You bet! brother Karl
Great info for the cutters. Well done video Joe.
Thanks 👍Brother, hope you are well, did you get affected by the bad weather patterns down there?
@@JoeSteel1 no, it was mostly up northeast Texas . Thanks for your concern. ✌️brother
My custom from Hanbon is fantastic
💯 Good Stuff.. They will be setting up a Hanbon custom builder on their site, gonna build a sample custom soon
@@JoeSteel1 Nice!
Hey! Thats a stacked line up as far as brands go! Seems like a very solid option compared to some of the old stand by sites (KoA, SnA, SoE, ect) be interesting how pricing compares, but just off the brands mentioned i think i might give em a shot. How was the shipping? If it cuts down on the Z-sey wait times it might be worth it.
Really great vid brother!
All the information about shipping times can be found on our website, on the product page. For items that are ready to ship, the delivery time varies based on the supplier. Orders from U.S. suppliers typically take 3-5 days, while orders from international suppliers may take 3-10 days.
For items that are not in stock and are produced after an order is placed, there is an additional production time. This lead time is also mentioned on the product page, next to the price.
If you need further information, feel free to use the contact form, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
too have JKOO & Hanbon along with so many high end brands under one site is pretty cool indeed
thanks brother and you got your answer from the source below...LOL
@@swordis-shop thank you guys! Appreciate the quick response!
Great channel! Wouldn’t it just be easier to buy from the source? I’ve dealt with Van for years now, but if I don’t deal directly with him then who would cover the C/S and Q/C if something was wrong? Just a couple of questions, that’s all.
Totally understand in the same boat with Van, they are a growing company with many changes, enhancing to do...I think it's a convenience factor of having many brands in house...QC is still jkoo as well as customer service if oder is not full filled right...As a side note found some really nice wakis that I couldn't find on jkoo website..well see how this all pans out
@@JoeSteel1 I look forward to it as well, wakizashi never seem to get enough love! Coincidentally I think we have about the same number of Cloudhammer swords 😁 I bought one of two of their S5 handachi, and if you’re able to pick one up I’d highly recommend it.
We currently operate as a marketplace for swords because it would be challenging for us to keep a stock of 1000+ products.
While for now you receive the same treatment as if you were ordering directly from Jkoo, for some suppliers like ShadowDancer and Z-SEY, you receive additional discounts and free shipping.
Next year, we plan to purchase stock from all the suppliers so we can have reserved stock for our customers to ship as soon as possible.
Additionally, Jkoo, HanBon Forge, and most other suppliers focus more on partnerships with resellers. We focus on the end customers, and we will improve the website to constantly release features that make sword collecting and buying easier for you.
For example, we've been working on continuously improving the filters on the category pages and are currently developing a custom sword builder that offers options that nobody else provides, along with other features.
In addition, we have two team members who fluently speak Chinese and English, avoiding misunderstandings when ordering swords, especially custom swords. We will have 3-4 different brands to choose from and over 400 options between 30 sword parts.
By ordering through us, customers experience no disadvantages and help us grow and improve our products and offerings.

Why pay a middle man?
If your asking to imply your paying higher prices, don't think that's the case, from what I can see
@JoeSteel1 I'm wondering if they are like RVA. They have it shipped to the US, then they ship to you. That would be cool if prices aren't hiked to high. Shoot, I wouldn't mind paying a little extra if I didn't have to deal with China.
