The reply was we have realize that China is no longer a copy cat, just as Japan stopped being a copy cat in terms of technology. We should welcome a win-win collaboration. The americans feel very uncomfortable, when/if they are not the conquerers and the winners while those they conquered are destroyed. The win-lose option is the only one they know exists. Win-win is foreign to the rulers of the global empire. Rome wins Gaul loses, Rome wins Carthage loses. Fintl is the opposite of Annalena Baerbock and Haback.

Competition is good. Foreign competition forces the local ones to innovate, reduce costs in order to be competitive or be out of business. All these benefit the consumers who can do with better quality and more affordable reasonably -priced products. I really don't care much about protecting the domestic market (that's for inefficient companies and govt to worry) if such competition means I get to enjoy lower prices and more options! Also EV cars and even driverless transportation like buses have been in China for quite some years. I was in China some years ago and was amazed by how fast they have leapfrogged in certain areas. It's not that China is catching up in EV, just that German is getting complacent and lagging behind without the foreign competition from overseas ... until now.

GERMANS AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SHOULD MOVE TO INDIA LIKE TESLA AND TAKE UP COMPETITION WITH CHINA. OTHERWISE THE GERMAN CAR INDUSTRY RISKS BEING NO MORE.

Face reality, China has caught everyone asleep with respect to EVs , they are def ahead and have the battery tech and supplies. Give them a few years and they will even improve their products even more. It’s going to be a losing battle - they have govt support , plenty of land , the talent ( engineers etc ) , the supply chains , the battery tech , and the money.

Let us wait to see in next couple months if "National Security" issue is rising in germany parliament. If any new restriction applied on China-EV in EU-Market, as reliatation, would the VW sale in China be restricted ? So basically, be careful with VW-Stock for long term investment.

from what I see in the ev industry, the Chinese have the Germans outgunned. They're vehicles are both better and cheaper. German manufacturers are only surviving thanks to legacy purchasers who value the brand for it's past quality. The upcoming generation don't see German vehicles with the veneration that it once had
