hi! this is just some general building advice, but when i don’t like the colors in a tutorial- i find a different color palette that does something similar. for example, recently i did a medieval house; and the roof was originally supposed to be copper, but i disliked the look of that. so i did the same texturing in the tutorial, but with terracotta colored blocks. i did something similar with the walls, which were originally supposed to be calcite and diorite; i changed to different kinds of tuff blocks, mixed with mossy stone. the point is! if you don’t like the color scheme, you can still follow the build- but use different materials. for this build, a good substitution for sandstone (texture wise) would be deepslate, tuff, or regular stone. that’s what i’m going to do! when substituting, you want to look for materials that give the same feel and texture as the tutorial edit to add: if you don’t like the look of sandstone, but still want a light build- i would recommend white concrete, diorite, quartz, and calcite if available to you. the reason i give these options, is because quartz is very expensive- and if you plan on doing this in survival, that is a lot of grinding. so i wanted to give some alternatives :)) i hope this helped- if you didn’t already make this :3

Fantastic ❤ love from New Zealand ❤️
Thank you! 😊 greetings to new zealand
this was so relaxing! love the build btw
glad you enjoyed it! thanks a lot☺️
Just FYI the blue block you use is very difficult to make out the borders. I’d recommend using a different block so when we pause we can count easier
thanks for the idea!
Just built this in my world. It looks so good thank you!
thank you soo much !
Looks great but you forgot the item list. Best of luck next time.
thank you! and thanks for the advice.
I know I wanted to build this but I didn't know what items to use
Nice medieval house
thank you so much!!🙏🏻
good video and good build, best wishes for success
thanks a lot!! thank you for the support.
What could you replace the sandstone with if we didn’t like this material? Great build!
Thank you ! 🫶🏼
It could also look good with quartz!
@@Catlinecrafting thanks! By chance, do you offer world downloads?
calcite is really good
