I'm soo glad this is still alive. ACA hurricane is my favorite siren. Only time i ever got to hear one was Darien on August 2 2011. Maybe if I'm lucky i might be able to hear this one someday
Damn i thought this was an old video at first because the blower started up at full speed! But then slowed down a second later. Wonder if they will actually help it other than just letting it suffer, because these sirens are actually pretty effective.
@@Areo10 Because there's still oil in that blower. A simple oil change will fix the problem, either that or one of the capacitors need to be replaced but there's not a whole lot wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. With proper given maintenance it wouldn't be sounding like this but here we are.
@@EastDetroitMusic-Sirens3000A I'd imagine the motor is three phase, in which case there are no capacitors to assist. An Oil change would be very sensible though... pretty sure that is the reason it's messing around.
Yes, the hurricane is as loud as a 2001 but, it shouldn’t be working and 75% of the time it just fails and doesn’t go off. It should be replaced and not working. Replace it with a P50, they’re louder and can go farther. Plus Milwaukee already has like 40,000 of them
anyone notice the FS Thunderbolt sticker on the blower?
probably put there by sheboygan warning systems when they upgraded its radio controls

I'm always so happy to see her still alive
Glad to see it still works! one of the last survivors.
I know that there's three on a pole that's in existence this one and two in Greensville Texas but they're both inactive
@@ThunderboltSiren1003This is now the last known standing hurricane that we know of. The Greenville ones were recently removed
The last hurricane 130

It did alert for 1 minute and then attack I think for about 45 seconds
@@jasperweber1873 while they do attack again

How would they replace it with a p50
